Ok, so one of my guys signed up for this. There was 30 people, double elimination. Sure as shit a bunch of people had dots on .22's in this competition. He said a glock guy that shoots "epsick" (?) and has a race gun came in first. Second place went to some guy using a .22 and a red dot. Third place went to a guy with a 1911 and no optic. After those three the skill level allegedly dropped off pretty quick. He himself came in 5th out of 30 and said it was popular enough that next year the range might do two groups of 30, one for optics and one non-dot.
Well shit, apparently Trijicon makes a Mini ACOG now, under a grand. The MRO can fuck off, this will be mine!
They run their tricked out race rigs well but you put a stock weapon in their hand and they turn into a 14 year old trying to get his girlfriend’s bra off
Safe manufacturers like to tout numbers like, "22 Long Guns" when they know damn well you ain't getting more than 9 in there. C'mon, I need this ACOG to arrive like yesterday. NoleNBlue recommended I buy it from OpticsPlanet.
Got this little hand cannon. Was issued to my Dad's department when he came on back in the early 80s. Not his, but still has some sentimental value.
Beretta A300 Outlander True Camo Semi auto 12 ga., chambered for 3", 28" barrel, included 3 chokes. Its for my daughter, will remain in my name until she's old enough to be transferred to.
December 30th, 2018 burnttatertot diagnosed the contents of a gun box based off of one picture showing ~40% of said box. What a time to be alive.
Spent about 6 hours shooting in the mountains today, ACOG arrived while I was out. Guess I have a reason to go shooting again tomorrow.
Oh man, ACOGs are God. They should be on everything. They need to make an ACOG for handguns so I can dump all these non-etched reticles I have. ACOGs and ELCANs, all other optics should be outlawed because I don't like them.
You’re too indoctrinated friend. No need to register in this shit hole either. But don’t you dare have an 11rd WMD mag.
No, but I'm in the market for a new handgun and rifle. Looking at the 6.5 creedmore for cartridge size, any recommendations for rifle?
That ZT was a little heavy for everyday carry (especially when I’m wearing work slacks) so i picked up this sexy little bitch.
I had a spyderco that I kept in my vest before we got exterior carriers. That thing kept a fucking edge, man. I literally have no idea where it went. I think it disappeared.
Spyderco makes some neat shit. Crazy sharp from the factory. The PM2 lives up to the hype. https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/category/archived-products I really like the Benchmade 940’s. It is slim, lightweight, great Axis lock. I can’t find any negatives for edc.
Big fan of IWI, a Tavor is definitely on my “one day” list. Kind of stuck on milsurp rifles through local forums though... looking at some Enfields, K98, and Mosins. And before anyone says it yes I know Nazi killer from motherland Mosin is a shit rifle but I like the history of these WW2 weapons.
Rabit home time: http://www.sadefensejournal.com/wp/?p=4350 Fiancée and I are planning on a trip to Israel next year. Touring IWI is definitely happening.
