Man my guess is Spoiler Barry from even further in the future. They keep mentioning that he disappears in a "crisis"
Spoiler yeah I only guessed ronnie b/c of how caitlin reacted at the end of tonight's episode but in the future cisco said that the catatonic Wally saw something that night his spine was broken that broke him mentally; imo that can only be Wally or Barry under the suit
I don't know why you guys are spoilering guesses. I thought a while ago they foreshadowed Wally but not sure how that gets explained.
Spoiler The "Out of Time" storyline features a future version of Barry 20 Years in The Future. Barry realizes that time is disappearing because his travels have torn apart the Speed Force. As a result of this, Barry was unable to prevent the death of Wally West (he was unable to save Wally from a car wreck IIRC) And so Barry decides to travel back in time and seal the rift in the speed force when it began and hopefully prevent Wally from dying in the process. But in order to do that, Barry must go back in time and kill his enemies.
I think it's Barry; Wally would be cooler considering that they've merged Wally West new-52 & Wally West-New Earth
Having Eddie pop up as a speed entity in Barry's speed force visions makes me think it's a unstable Eddie Thawn.
I just can't imagine that it is Barry, future emo haircut Barry said he trapped Savatar in the Speedforce, so unless it was some sort of far in the future Barry I am not buying it. Besides, why would even super future Barry want to kill Iris? Jr thinks its somehow Ronnie and I tend to lean that it is Wally.
The other question I have is who is the zombie Flash that has been showing up in Legends of Tomorrow?
The Black Flash is the speedster's personification of death. Something like they're too fast to be caught by regular death.
Spoiler now that we know that it's Barry under the suit, any guesses as to how it's him? I'm guessing that this Barry is a time remnant of the original timeline that was destroyed when Barry created Flashpoint after Zoom killed his dad; with no timeline to return to this version of Barry was stuck in the speedforce forced to relive his worst memories eventually becoming Savitar.
I have no idea. It was when he popped up right before they stopped killer frost. Doesnt really matter now after the reveal. At the time, it seemed pretty important and I was so pissed I couldnt understand it lol. Could have just waited 10 min before posting and it wouldnt have mattered.

Finally caught up. Spoiler Knew it had to be someone on the team, there was too many "one step ahead" "had to be there" clues. My early guess was HR bc he was absent a lot. Spoiler Thats a really good theory but how would he get stuck there? He was scarred. Maybe the emo Barry he visited didn't end well?
When speedsters die (as Time Remnant Barry did) they return to the speedforce and eventually they're returned to the timeline & if deemed worthy they regain their speed powers. Barry destroyed the timeline the time remnant was supposed to return to via Flashpoint ergo he was stuck. That's an iffy explanation but that's the only reason I can think of him being stuck there before becoming Savitar.
Without knowing a lot of Flash canon, is it possible that Savatar/Future Barry is the one who disappeared in the future crisis and came back to change the timeline somehow?
That was a pretty underwhelming finale, IMO. No real game changing developments at all. I mean, it's not like anyone believes Barry is going to stay trapped in the speed force beyond one or two episodes next season.
They'd have my interest if they did a significant time jump and did a version of Rebirth, but the fact they are tied to Arrow really prevents that happening.
Overall it was a pretty meh finale. Glad they didn't take the easy way out and do some type of time travel. The Savitar costume and Barry's scar really looked cheap the last few episodes. Caitlin was looking hot as Killer Frost tho.
Just binged through the end of Season 3. Why did they not just bring Iris to ARGUS after finding out they had a power dampening system?
