New seasons of Batwoman and Black Lightening have started. BL is still boring. Batwoman got worse. I get having to adjust to losing the lead but this story is dumb so far.
I don’t get it. Continuing to tease that Kate may be alive when the actress isn’t coming back seems stupid. The new Batwoman keeps being dumb and not near as tough as I feel like she should be. Alice was fun last season, now way too over the top. Just nothing working for me so far.
The writers have her playing second fiddle so to speak on what is supposed to be her show. Instead of focusing on her growth as a character into someone worthy of wearing the cowl, it feels like they are spending the focus of every early episode this season on Kate being alive and finding her. Ruby Rose left the role. She doesn’t want it. She isn’t coming back. The show needs to move on or be put on the shelf. This new season simply isn’t working. At all.
I get it. There’s supposed to be a learning curve figuring out how to be Bats but she’s supposed to have some fighting skills and is having trouble fighting random thugs and an old lady. Y’all covered the Kate issues. I don't know how much longer I’ll watch.
I watched last night going to sleep and enjoyed it, but I realized I completely checked out last year. I had no idea who the guy at the desk was (thought at first we were on another earth or something and he was the new “Cisco”). I’ve stuck with it this long, I’ll see where they go with the first part of the season
This is just weird. Berry always had the ability to super think? or whatever you want to call it. Why is he talking like a robot?
Yeah just terrible. I’ll give them a couple episodes to start this new story, but I’m nearly done. I did love how they got rid of Ralph
Was just coming to post. I don’t really watch anymore (noticed there was a new EP tonight) but that makes me sad. Season 1 was so great. 2, 3, and maybe 4(?) were enjoyable and then it just got worse and worse.
So where is the Diggle thing heading? A new show or some new crossover? Yay, Nora’s back! It’s been a mess of a season but I’m interested to see where this goes finally.
