'Flash'/'Arrow' gets a series order and a title - 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' The "Flash"/"Arrow" spinoff has officially been ordered to series and after having been called various permutations on "untitled," it finally has a title: Say hello to "DC's Legends of Tomorrow." "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" focuses on time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter, who has to recruit a rag-tag team of heroes and villains to help prevent an apocalypse that could impact not only Earth, but all of time. YIKES! The series stars Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Caity Lotz, Ciarra Renee, Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller. Note that, for whatever reason, the initial logline has the last two "Flash" veterans listed as "with Dominic Purcell... and Wentworth Miller." Dunno if that's contractual or what. "Legends of Tomorrow" will be produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Sarah Schechter. If I had a secret identity, I wouldn't tell my loved one because what if I got tired of her shit and then she told the world who I was? Bitches be triflin'!
Great episode. I have one complaint, though. When Oliver hits Thawne with the first arrow, there's no way in hell that Thawne could put up a fight against the fucking heir to the demon. COME THE FUCK ON. Other than that, great episode.
Stephen Amell @amellywood 4h4 hours ago Please enjoy #TheFlash tonight. Acting w @RobbieAmell was phenomenal. It was the first time. Won't be the last. @grantgust (your cool too) Stephen Amell @amellywood 17m17 minutes ago Making a grammatical error in an important tweet will surely haunt my dreams this eve.
I thought it was a good episode and definitely set up for a great finale. With that said, the timeline really doesn't make sense to the (huge) nerd in me. You're telling me Ollie had time in the middle of everything he has going on with the LoA on Arrow to jetset over to help out Barry for a day or two? Cool to see, but it made me scratch my head a little.
I liked last night but it seemed a little off with all the characters crammed in. cool nod to the Green Lantern snuck in there though.
My finale prediction: Barry saves his Mother and both The Flash and Arrow go all Flashpoint Paradox to start next season. That's how they erase the end of the Arrow finale.
I'm thinking they follow the comic movie where he saves her and jacks everything up and then has to go back and not save her to fix it.
Definitely can see that happening. Though there were rumors that Tom Welling could show up as Superman in an alternate dimension/reality storyline. That wouldn't necessarily fit with the emaciated Superman in the animated movie.
They could use DJ Qualls as the emaciated Superman and have him transform into Tom Welling in the sunlight.
I'd also guess that Oliver Queen's father takes the place of Thomas Wayne in an alternate reality where Oliver is the one who died at sea (in the animated movie Bruce was shot and killed by the robber in the alley and his mother would go onto be the Joker). Could lead to a moment at the end where Senior Queen kills the Reverse Flash. Though for the Flash finale, I wouldn't be surprised to see Eddie kill himself in an ill fated attempt to prevent the Reverse Flash from being born, only to find out the Reverse Flash was never a direct descendent.
So close. Overall, I thought it was a good finale. I thought Gustin was really good playing all those emotional scenes. Really surprised at the swerve of Barry letting his Mother die. Interesting Future Barry knew he would be there and waved him off. I still think they will go Flashpoint at some point in the series, which is why Future Barry knew it was a bad idea. But I'm kind of confused at the ending. Barry shouldn't be able to stop that wormhole, and it should be the result of Thawne being written out of the timeline. If he never exists, then he never comes back to kill Wells, etc, etc. Going to be interesting if they open with an entirely new world next season.
Better season: Flash Season 1 or Arrow Season 2? I think I have to give the edge to Arrow Season 2, but it's really, really close.
there was that, there was a shot of barry in jail, what else? there was a shot from legends of tomorrow as well, i believe
Like TheGrifter said Gustin had some really emotional scenes tonight. Really got the feels going all over the place
It's really been apparent to me how much Gustin has grown as an actor throughout the course of this season. He's really a perfect Barry Allen to me at this point. Ezra Miller has some big shoes to fill in the films, and I'm frankly not sure he can do it.
I don't think it's close and I do not think I am caught in the moment, Flash Season 1 >>> Arrow Season 2 and I enjoyed that season quite a bit
Caught the Killer Frost deal and I guess they are setting the stage for Cisco to be Vibe. Really great finale, but still believe Eddie should have just got a vasectomy as stated previously.
@TVbytheNumbers: 'The Flash' Season Finale #1 in Adults 18-34 http://bit.ly/1FwhaLi Flash was the number one super hero show pretty much the whole last half of the year
