I loved the movie so much that i actually bought the sweatsuit as a gag and occasionally break it out at work for goofs. I can't wait for this one. "Crime meets caviar! Meet our new class of criminals in The Gentlemen. A new drama series from Guy Ritchie, inspired by the original film. The Gentlemen arrives this March only on Netflix."
Nice. I liked the movie as well. I love English crime for some reason, Layer Cake is another great one if you need a rec.
I also own a sweatsuit from the movie Layer cake is criminally underrated (no pun intended). I don’t know how it never became more popular than it is
Three episodes in and really loving it. I love the way guy Richie makes a movie. The humor, the writing, the insults, the music, the slow, Mo, action shots just love all of it as well as the Seinfeld-esque Folding of the stories onto each other. And Lock stock and two smoking barrels. Has my favorite ending of any movie ever. Theo. James is really good in the lead. he did a nice job in the insurgent series and he's very solid in this. looking forward to the rest of it!
it's kind of like Guy Ritchie Fargo (the tv series) - lots of nods to previous movies and plot points. but i thought it was very enjoyable and look forward to more.
Been #1 on Netflix since the jump. Already talk about season 2 and multiple seasons after that. Sorry, no link, read that a few days ago somewhere ...
It’s really good and if Ritchie is staying behind the wheel it has a ton of potential for more great seasons.
This popped up on my google search page. Has anyone seen boat story? Looks interesting. Im gonna try it. https://www.tvguide.com/news/shows-like-the-gentlemen-netflix/
just finished last night. big fan. Theo James grated on me in White Lotus (did his job well in that role) but he was great in this. Giancarlo Esposito plays a crime boss so well
Never saw the movie (though I obviously will now) and have been enjoying the show so far (only about 4 episodes in). Doing my best to not stay inside all day and binge it today or tmw.
