This whole clip is great but my wife and I go to "Because they suuuuuccccckkkk" all the time in normal conversation. So good.
so I started this show with the wife after listening to Schur on Dave Changs podcast about philosophy (and being a fan of Parks/etc) for those folks who already saw the show I imagine you'll love this pod, you saw the finger prints of what he talked about throughout the entire show also i'm stunned that show got made let alone was popular enough to get to the finish line, its not even really a comedy, its a high concept like sci-fi dramedy. great show. final season gave me pause when it seemed like they were going to do a LOT on Brent parallels with Trump which is not what I enjoyed about the show at all so glad he faded into the background.
It took me nearly a year to get around to the final season but it was really lovely. I honestly thought it was the show's best season.
Ted Danson has done a great job hitting on so many tv sitcoms/shows. Cheers - 270 episodes Becker - 129 episodes CSI - 84 episodes Damages - 20 episodes The Good Place - 50 episodes Curb - 30 episodes
Just finished this. It's the assigned freshman read for UofSC this fall. If you liked the show, it's more of the same. I do appreciate the parts where he talks about comedy and tv more than the philosophy parts though. Should be an interesting book to start conversations with freshmen, and he will visit campus so that's cool.
I read it earlier this year and thought the same. Do think it’ll make a good discussion starter though and that’s awesome that he’s coming to campus.
