Kinda sucks w/ how great they’re playing, but can’t complain about how much they’ve toured the last few years. Hopefully the time is filled with other projects.
now open up that fist maybe one finger at the time maybe all fingers who cares FUCK just get 'em open........feel that breeze
my word, that was some show. songs I particularly thought were done well: franklin’s tower, he’s gone, and china cat literally everyone was dancing and singing along in the crowd. it was quite a sight. here’s a panaramic picture I took also
Down to 2 weeks until Lockn, the crew is started to get pumped up. Really interested to see the Sunday set with Branford Marsalis, anybody know of a good previous show he played with them? Also hoping Susan and Derek join them one night.

Don't believe he's ever played w/ Dead & Co, but 3/29/90 is if you've never heard it. Brent still on keys, and Branford sits in for Bird Song, and then the entire 2nd set > Knockin' on Heaven's Door encore.
Oddly, I’m starting my listening off with Phish 8-9-98, but have some late Jer-era queued up. Saw a recommendation for the 10/14/94 Scarlet > Fire and gonna go from there.
To say the least. People there say everyone in the audience was either crying or too awestruck to even comprehend what was going on.
This 10/14/94 Scarlet > Fire is super sick. There’s plenty of really amazing shows until the end...i love listening to the 90’s.
This church is down the road from me. 2nd year they’ve done this. I’m not religious so no need for me to go. Found kind of funny

Just realized the Dallas show is midweek. Playing the venue right across the highway from Deep Ellum, so at least we’ll get a Deep Ellum Blues
Also seeing DSO tonight. They played 5/5/78 last night at the same venue, kinda bummed I missed that. Set One: The Promised Land ; Dire Wolf ; Cassidy ; Candyman ; El Paso ; They Love Each Other ; Passenger ; Brown Eyed Women ; Lazy Lightnin' > Supplication Set Two: Bertha > Good Lovin' ; Ship Of Fools ; Estimated Prophet > Eyes Of The World > Drums > Space > Not Fade Away > Stella Blue > Around And Around Encore: Werewolves Of London Last show I saw them do was a 1969 show, and while fun, doesn't really scratch the itch IMO. The only people who play psychedelic late-60s Dead really well are the Dead
