I'm not hungover but I was up from 4am to midnight yesterday going back and forth to the game. Feeling real lazy today
Hmm, tough call. Ashland Pub, but it's small and probably packed with brunch crowd. Biergarten has half off drafts today. Hero's and Butch Cassidy's are good if not standard bar food. I'm sure I'm missing some good options but I treat most of my hangovers on the opposite side of the bay.
dallasdawg I have a guaranteed ass kicking in Austin this weekend. You still doing the IV stuff? What should I get set up?
In Austin? I think there’s a place called IVitamin, and another called The Drip Spot. I think Drip Spot is supposed to be pretty legit If you need some pointers on what to ask for, let me know Hopefully we’ll be in Austin in the next few years
Judgement day. Good drinking buddy flew out last night after a week visit. Chickens coming home to roost, everything hurts. Thank god I don’t have any alcohol left in the house or I would have pushed morning beers well into next week.
I'm building towards one. You ever just get that feeling that you need to get wasted so you can wake up suicidal. That's me.
Plan is to be drunk halfway through the 1st hungover by the half drunk again at the start of the 3rd and in a coma halfway through the 4th.
You seem disturbed I get drunk because of boredom of everyday life, anger, happiness, many other feelings; not sure I've ever wanted to wake up suicidial
There’s an IV hangover place in my town. Think I’m bout to check that place out. Anyone ever tried it?
I own a clinic in Dallas. IVs are legit for hangovers regardless, but some can be done a lot better than others. Where are you at? What’s it called?
Ehhhh looks alright. Looks like they probably only give you a 1/2 liter, plus they don’t use many vitamins. Torodol will definitely help but if they’re doing that without the physician there, then that’s illegal haha. Zofran is fine, that will kill your nausea pretty quickly Either way, it’ll help. Just wish some places like that put together a better product
1g magnesium 5g vitamin C 300mg calcium B complex Sodium bicarbonate 1g glutathione push 250mg glycine push Pepcid push Zofran push B12 injection We split a liter up into 500 NS for the vitamins and tack on a 500 LR for straight fluids and extra electrolytes not in the NS bag
I did the IV in Nashville last year and it didn't do shit. Thought I was going to die connecting through O'Hare.
Not exactly true... Any opioid analgesic and/or small amount of a benzo pretty much gets rid of the worst hangovers instantly (30min) in my experiences. However once I discovered those, booze was replaced as my D.O.C. and I lost 13 yrs of my life to addiction + 2 rehab trips, and am just finishing college at 38yrs old, so it's probably just best to push through the hangover.
Probably didn’t load you with enough fluids. I’ve taken down 2.5 liters before after a really late night
This stuff actually works. Drinkwel for Hangovers, Nutrient Replenishment & Liver Support (90 Vegetarian Capsules with Organic Milk Thistle, N-acetyl Cysteine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, and DHM) (1 Bottle)
I’ve taken variations of this. They all help assist, but what dallasdawg offers is more instant gratification.
The morning recovery drink is pretty damn solid I just drink some recoverORS powder and that almost always brings you back from the dead
