Seeing Poison the Well next week, so excited. The venue is actually pretty big so I’m interested in what this crowd size is going to be
no shit. ruled. the voyage back to my car however did not rule. were you a lucky one that got close parking?
I walked a long fucking way back to my hotel. It was dicey walking there, more dicey walking back in the dark
Some video Better Lovers. Seizure warning on the second video Spoiler Greg came out to this balcony before the set. I was thinking, no fucking way. He agreed Opted for a less harrowing jump Poison the Well. 10 out of 10, would recommend Spoiler
That video I posted wasn’t even the craziest light display. At one point I thought well I’m about to find out if i have epilepsy. Actually surprised some sort of warning wasn’t given before their set
Oh I know. I saw the tour a couple weeks ago. I was referring to my in person experience. Both bands rocked hard tho.
Whelp, someone dislocated their knee during dying wish tonight. That’s 2 times in a row at this venue someone has had to be stretchered out
I know its fashionable to say it, but Terror really are the greatest hardcore band. I'm always amazed how much energy Scott Vogel has every time I see them play. Bo Ludens was walking around the show but he was with his wife and I didn't want to bother them. Pest Control, who were on an episode of Hardlore, are pretty solid too. Wouldn't go out of my way to see them but would be happy to see them opening at any show I was at. Leah was just standing outside the venue when the show was over so I stopped and talked to her a bit, she was very pleasant. Spoiler Ended up donating a little blood during the set
Just saw them on Tuesday and man, it's crazy how good and how popular they've gotten in the past 18 months. It's wild they haven't even been a band for 5 years. It sure feels like they're going to be the next kings of hardcore. The Peeling Flesh pit was the most violent thing I think I've ever been a part of. Saw some young kid get absolutely knocked out about 30 seconds into the first song. He got carried out of the pit still sleeping. Most brutal KO I've ever seen in my life. Peeling Flesh are so damn good though. I'd go out of my way to see them again. Also, No Guard who is from my hometown, played as the opener. They just recently put out a split with Haywire and they were great, not your run of the mill local opening band. Much more punk than hardcore but I'd recommend people check them out on whatever streaming service you use. Spoiler Watch out for stage divers The fucking coolest No Guard
Vogel is hardcore Jesus and Terror is the greatest hardcore band of all time. I will be at Sound & Fury and Furnace Fest this year, say hi if you’ll be there please. I’m super white and wear an LA Kings hat.
the sound and fury line up this year is so good. Sadly I would burst into flames if I was in LA in July
I was at Tied Down. Was sick. I didn’t see Colin kill that kid but I did see the surprise Twitchfits set which ruled
It was amazing. Getting Cold as Life and Merauder back to back was insane. Missing Link isn't one of my favorite bands but they were great. Fatal Realm was fucking heavy and the crowd went crazy for their set. Collin Young came out and did drums during Life is Pain, Jeff Gunnells about took my head off launching himself way off the stage out of nowhere, got the bridge of my nose busted open, and dove off the stage and ended up getting dropped...just a great time all around. I was standing right next to the HateSix guy so I assume all of the sets will be up on his page soon. Spoiler Had to take this video early in the set because by the end the place was up for grabs Getting to see Cold as Life in front of a home town crowd was awesome Missing Link If they're near you, go see Fatal Realm. Fucking heavy Queensway, crowd was pretty fired up for them Didn't get any video of Bayway who are meh or Ingrown
