Pretty pumped in all aspects with the Rosen maneuver. Keeping #47 and all 2019 picks and getting a QB seemed impossible, but here we are. Would like an OL and a WR today, but who knows. Love the flexibility we should have 2019 and beyond, finally out of cap trouble
#Arizona Cardinals is it alright if I rest my wings ( ) with you guys I feel like I need to get in before Rosen fully takes off plus you guys have RSJ and B-Will
Do you guys think they will pick Kirk if he is there and there isnt really an OL worthy of the pick on board I feel like him being an AZ kid would make it extra sweet
Can't speak about the player, but love the idea of getting a versatile interior OL and potential long term Center. Exactly the 3 positions I wanted addressed so far
Could stand to add a RB too, position was rough last year after Johnson went down Think we will see a small school DB, the Keim speciality, at some point.
Deone Buchanan too, maybe Markus Golden if he's healthy and not looking for Chandler Jones money. Already exercised DJ Humphries option for 19
Wouldn't be surprised to add another LB, looks like it will be Deone at Will, Bynes at MLB, Reddick at SLB in the base 4-3 for Wilks
Looks like Wilks and Keim have the same specialty — When it comes to cornerback — the most glaring need the Cardinals have — do not forget that Wilks, a former defensive backs coach, frequently used and used successfully cornerbacks with perhaps not the highest draft pedigree. He can make different pieces work (Josh Norman, don’t forget, was a fifth-rounder.)
Let me see if I can do a DC QB: Sam Bradford / Josh Rosen RB: David Johnson / TJ Logan WR: Larry Fitzgerald WR: Christian Kirk WR: JJ Nelson or Brice Butler TE: Jermaine Gresham / RSJ LT: DJ Humphries LG: Mike Iupati or Evan Boehm C: AQ Shipley RG: Justin Pugh RT: Andre Smith DE: Chandler Jones DT: Robert Nkemdiche DT: Corey Peters DE: Markus Golden SLB: Hassan Reddick MLB: Josh Bynes WLB: Deone Buchanan CB: Patrick Peterson CB: Brandon Williams or Bene Benwikere FS: Antoine Bethea SS: BUDDA BAKER this is what I’ve got from my research cramming session
Oh damn. I hadn’t heard he was a pass. He looked great from everything I saw. I’ll have to read some more on him.
He's just not a good football player, amazing athlete for his size, but awful production. Demario Richard, who for sure won't get drafted, was miles better at ASU despite being short/slow.
Will be interesting to see what they do with Kirk, at least next year. Seems a perfect slot WR, but that's Larry's role at this stage of his career. If Kirk can play outside that would be fantastic because our other current WRs blow
Small school special https://www.nfl.com/prospects/chase-edmonds?id=32462018-0002-5599-67b6-83e11d5abce1
Decent right up on Rosen. You guys might like it. I am not a BP fan but this is almost 100% right http://www.latimes.com/sports/ucla/la-sp-nfl-draft-plasckhe-20180426-story.html
so to recap 1. Franchise QB 2. Dynamic WR to lend some help to Fitz 3. Solid interior OL that can play either G/C 4. Shifty RB that will backup DJ31 6. CB that Wilks will try and do what he does best with 7. OT that Ray Brown can mold into what he wants Solid, solid draft
Yup, pretty much EXACTLY what I was hoping for. Even literally the first 2 players being my dream scenario, so that was fun. Obviously it's all about Rosen, but to come out of this draft with a potential franchise QB while still keeping the 2nd rounder and all future picks(Keim needs to stop trading future picks, so this was a start) and some potential offensive depth/talent was all that could be hoped for

Steve Wilks believes in developing players, and the new coach will have a chance this offseason with the way the Cardinals approached their undrafted rookie free agent class. After selecting six players in the weekend's draft, the Cardinals agreed to terms with a hefty 24 rookie free agent class Monday. The haul will eventually mean the Cardinals must trim from their roster. Including the draft class, the Cards will have 99 total players for their roster, although until the undrafted players sign contracts, they do not count against the offseason 90-man limit. Those rookies must also still pass physicals before getting their contracts. The Cardinals hold their rookie minicamp the weekend of May 11-13. The full list of undrafted rookie additions: CB Elijah Battle (West Virginia) TE Alec Bloom (Connecticut) LB Dennis Gardeck (Sioux Falls) LB Frank Ginda (San Jose State) OL Will House (Southern Nazarene) S A.J.
