Halloween 3 is up. Certainly the strangest entry in the series... I opted to watch Child’s Play 2 last night instead of US... I watched US last week

really looking forward to Altered tomorrow night. Love sci fi horror. Been a bit since I seen it, but it’s well done low budget flick from the original Blair Witch guy.

Halloween 3 has grown on me over the years. The further away I get from the utter disappointment of no Michael Myers, the more I can enjoy the nonsense of part 3.

John Carpenter always makes Tom Atkins his surrogate in films (Halloween 3 and The Fog) because he sleeps with everyone

 

If I've never seen any of the Halloween films. Is it okay for me to jump in with this one? (To complete the list above)

 

Yes. It’s a stand alone film and has nothing to do with the other Halloweens

 

You don’t need to but it strangely exists in a universe where the Halloween film exist.

 

Halloween 3 is so much better than its reputation. People just didn't understand Carpenter wanted to make an Anthology series, and we are the poorer for it.

 

The film has a nice eerie vibe. Just think people didn’t give it a fair shake going in due to it has nothing to do with Myers. Fast forward years later and new people to the series watch it after the first two and are like WTF? I remember the first time I watched it I was like.when is Myers coming? Then rewatched a few years later for what it is and enjoyed it.

watched in the tall grass yesterday. Wasn’t bad for a movie I had no expectations for.

Watched ReAnimator and the HULU original Uncanny Annie.

Always like me some ReAnimator. Uncanny Annie was cheesy and a little campy and kept me entertained enough.

 

How was "In the Tall Grass" and Sacred Deer?

 

gets me every time

 

Bruh Im like "wtf I didn't do that".

 

Tall Grass is worth the watch. Sacred Deer is really odd.

Midsommar was fantastic. Can't wait to watch it again.

 

Watched Midsommar a few days ago as well. It was....something. Unexpectedly gruesome.Gonna watch the directors cut next. Think it adds like 20 or 30 extra mins.

Watching The House of the Devil right now

 

Really enjoyed Coherence.

 

Not really. That’s the same shit you watched when you were at the age where you had to wait until your parents fell asleep to watch Child’s Play 2 come on at 1am on USA.

 

I have a 12 year old and 10 year old sons and I’ve been slowly introducing them to some of my favorite horror flicks. Last year it was:

New Adams Family cartoon is excellent. Fun little kids movie that little ones can enjoy.

Finally watched Hereditary tonight. That may legitimately be my favorite horror movie ever. As everyone who's already seen it knows, the trailer was so misleading which made it that much better. My wife is terrified to go to bed right now.
