I probably need to watch it again, but I think I liked Midsomer better. I just thought Hereditary was just ok.
Not a horror movie fan although I like to go on the wild side sometimes, hereditary is just a very very good movie, loved it
Terrifier is a really good movie if you’re a closet serial murderer who daydreams about mutilating humans.
Not familiar with him I didn’t think he was then I read some of the replies and it seemed like some thought he was that’s why I asked.
Cardeja12 DUCKMOUTH Finally watched hole in the ground. I actually enjoyed it. Not particularly scary, but still a good movie. Interested to see what other people think about it.

Still enjoying the show Evil on CBS. Not a bad little time killer. If anyone is looking for a new show also here is a horror/comedy short I enjoyed
I'm pretty sure I was like an hour in and thinking "man, they're really milking this shit, where the fuck is Michael?".
Actually now that I think about it, I think Midsommar could have been just fine or better if the cult had just straight up kidnapped them after that point. It was pretty fucking ridiculous they didn’t leave at that point.
Midsommer was a giant metaphor for being stuck in shitty relationship. They didn’t leave for the same reason the boyfriend never left the chic. You make excuses and before you know it, it’s too late.
Tried to watch it last night. Nearly turned it off early when she was sobbing for what seemed like an eternity. Maybe I'm heartless, but they could have shown the same scene with silence and gotten the same result. After the jump and then hammer time, there's no chance anyone willingly stays. I don't care what may or may not have happened to them if they tried, EVERY human on earth would have at least tried. I turned it off shortly after out of sheer boredom. Not for me I guess.
Watched Trick R Treat last night. Suck a fun Halloween film. Nothing great, but a nice movie this time a year
Sorry, not sorry, but I love the Happy Death Day movies. They're fun, and the lead girl is so damn fine.
I couldn’t make it through. For me, the hokey groundhog concept removed any of the suspense from the kill scenes.
I think that was kind of the point. I don't think they were really going for the true slasher flick suspense angle. It was just supposed to be fun, and I think they did a great job of making it just that.
Hope everyone has added Troll 2 to their list this month. Incredible movie, made me want to be a better man.
True story. One of my earliest childhood memories was watching Troll and being scared.. then every time we went the video store I would cry and panic when I saw the box. Was probably about 3 or 4
