About halfway through I found myself thinking "I literally can't believe this is the plot they chose to go with"
Anyone started The Watcher yet? Bout to give that a shot. Might not be considered on topic for this thread but I'll report back
I know the series isn’t anything like the actual events but I’m like 3 episodes in and really like it.
Halfway thru the new Halloween movie and my god it’s the worst thing I’ve seen in a while. Hopefully this series dies with this shit movie
The same. I didn't feel it rose to any great heights at any stage - just very dour and depressing throughout.
watched the first episode of Midnight Mass last night and I'm pretty excited about where it appears to be going
How do we feel about jeepers creepers and any of the sequels? Don’t really think they are good, but enjoy watching on tv. Kinda like The Faculty
I like 1 and 2. Jeepers Creepers 2 I remember vividly because that is the only time ever I’ve watched a movie in a theater where I was the only audience member.
Caught The Puppet Master on tv last night, I don't think I had seen any of them, dumb fun 80's trash. They are added to my list.
The first part of Jeepers Creepers 1 is some damn classic story building/old school tension. Kind of falls apart at the police station but it’s still fun.
You know its because they ran out of funding halfway through the movie right? I agree the buildup was so creepy and then once you see him in the police station... cheesy
Shit did not know that BUT tension/suspense doesn’t need a high budget. Especially considering when it gets cheesy is when the CGI get not so good.
I loved the cinematography and tone, but I'm not getting the regard for this one. Been a bit, and only one viewing, I thought it was trite and indulgent. Oozed film school prodigy with potential, but still just that. Didn't get the hype
I know. Lots of people did. I don't really get it. In the same vein as midsommer, I'd say, which I thought was very solid, bordering on pretty good . Curious what I'm missing.
Rewatched Conjuring 2 last night. Still slaps finished the rewatch of Hill House earlier in the week and forgot how.... not scary the final couple episodes are. The finale especially was almost more wholesome than horror, which actually worked out well to wrap up the story.
