It's on HBO go for a limited time so I watched it. Don't have Cinemax. It's crazy how medical practice was back in the day. I want to put cocaine on my dick and fuck that nurse too.
Most of it is mindless entertainment like Strike Back and Banshee, but you need those types of shows in a rotation to lighten the mental load. Nothing wrong with tits and guns for an hour every week. The Knick is a little different for them but I love the setting and the cast is very solid. The ambulance driver may be my favorite.
These two have been a real highlight for this season. Tom Cleary is a top 5 character for me on television right now.
Just watched last weeks episode, pretty fucking crazy. Starting tonight's now. This is such a great show. Nurse Elkins is a bad bitch, and Barrow is a complete piece of shit. He is entertaining though I will give him that. It is definitely the son who was bribing port officials and not the father.
Ohh man now I'm nervous. And my theory has been proven correct lol. Spoiler I thought it was the shitbird Barrow who started the fire though, not the son.
i think medical revelations are the most interesting part of the show and the introduction to psychoanalysis could be really great
Just finished season 2. woah. Binge watched both seasons within the past week or so. So damn good, my new favorite show.
This is easily a top 3 TV show. No one knows about it because of Cinemax. Best cinematography in television, superb acting, well written, enthralling setting, intriguing historical context.
You are right about the cinematography, and everything else actually. Love this show and if it were on HBO or Showtime it would be a megahit.
