I'm really hoping Mandel wins the GOP nomination for Senate in 2018 without a primary. Right now, he has announced and no others have shown interest. Mike Dewine is running for governor, so Kasich is the only wild card left to see what fight Sherrod Brown will have. He will beat Mandel, but not the other two.
It's incredible to me how conservatives can't wrap their minds around the concept that increasing the amount of consumers is good for a consumer economy. Yet they totally understand that small towns are dying since no one lives there. It's almost like those two concepts are related somehow.
The Democratic Party IS the right wing/conservative party. It would be beneficial to the country if they'd own it and stop acting like they're the party of progressives.
