My point, and really it's a question, is: do you draw a distinction between transgender people and transracial people? If so, why?

For example, a transgender person is treated as the gender they feel they are. If you are a biological male and you feel like you are female, then you use the female restroom, you put down female on your job and college application, it says female on your driver's license, you should be addressed as a female, etc. Does that apply equally to transracial people?

It's fine, from a personal standpoint, to say - yes, these people can be whatever they want to be, I don't care if they are a white man, a black woman, an asian goat, whatever, I really do not personally care. We agree on that. I want everyone to be happy and be what makes them happy. But the impact of those decisions reaches well beyond how you or I feel about them, right?

Try to keep up, anyone can already claim any race they want on any application, they can also leave any questions blank in regards to race, the only way that claiming the wrong race could become a problem is when deciding whether to house students in the color or whites-only dorms.

And what you are saying I do not think is totally accurate. Most applications, for colleges, scholarships, or employment, have a blurb about "the information I have provided is to the best of my knowledge true and accurate". Someone who knows they are not black cannot apply for an african american scholarship without violating that. So the white guy who identifies as Filipino; if he marks Filipino on his application, is he violating the terms of the application?

no, I saw a story on it. A white guy feels as though he is Filipino. He identifies with the culture, and feels more comfortable around Filipino people, etc. He feels like a Filipino guy trapped in a white guys body. Also the Rachel Dolezal. It's not common, but it exists.

The term usually used is transracial, not tranethnic.

I also have seen odd stories of grown adults who feel like children. Here is one trans man who also feels "transager". He seems pretty age-fluid though.
