Spoiler Yeah, I was referring to the you should be arrested for apprehending x-9-1- something something I didn't know if that was someone on the show in season 1 .
Episode seemed to be a lot of “lol look at how cute and ridiculous Baby Yoda is” and not much of substance And then it just ended will wait to see where this ends up, but in isolation, not their best work
I'll be honest, I thought it was bad. Bad acting, bad story, no plot development. Just a shitty adventure of the week. It wouldn't bother me if we had more than 8 episodes that aren't even an hour long.
Spoiler 30 minute run time. While the episode is good that’s extremely disappointing. So maybe Sasha banks isn’t Sabine wren after all?
that was good Spoiler obviously she was already the voice but Sackoff was perfect as Bo Katan. I’m cool with Banks not being Sabine. kinda want someone with better acting chops if you’re going to have her. can’t wait for next week.
My only sort of concern moving forward Spoiler is that Mando becomes a Forrest Gump like character who incidentally bumps into notable figures throughout the universe although I suppose you can could chalk it up to “the force”
Spoiler I think Filoni is directing E5 which almost assuredly is Ashoka, so may be another slower moving episode next week in between
Those fucking Squidbillies better have fixed that ship up enough for it to make it to the forest planet Corvus before the next episode starts.
That episode was awesome. Love where this is going and how they’re bringing the clone wars characters in.
My wife was startled cuz as soon as I saw Spoiler Bo-Katan’s helmet art I shouted Spoiler Holy Shit it’s Bo-Katan!
I do enjoy this show quite a bit, but I wish the seasons were longer if they insist on the filler episodes. Ep 3 was fantastic.
Best part about this season has been how excited my 7 yr old is when a new episode drops every Friday. She was so excited when Bo Katan showed up last week.
same with Meatball, he was legit heartbroken when he found out I watched S2E1 w/o him...won't make that mistake again
I cheat and secretly watch the new episode Friday at work and then watch again with my daughter that night. I mainly do this so I don't get annoyed by questioning during the re-watch like I would on an initial watch.
one thing I just noticed during rewatch is Mando has been saying he was returning the child to “his kind” but this episode he said “to the Jedi”. I had thought his kind meant his species but I guess not.
If I remember correctly, when he was talking to the head of his clan at the end of last season she spoke about "his kind" being the jedi, given what Baby Yoda had done throughout the season. At least thats how I had always interpreted, they knew he was gifted with the ability and it was Mando's duty to return him to his "kind", the jedi.
Not hip to the whole universe but would mandos know about Yoda? would yoda have been a pretty famous Jedi ?
Current mandalorians? No. Is it possible he did something on mandalore before the prequels? Yes. There’s rumors going around of an old republic set a few hundred years before the sky walker saga and if so it should have yoda in it.
When was Yoda last out in the spotlight? Compared to the timeline now? Does this generation of people not know he existed since he was hiding out in the swamps?
This is about 5 years after ROTJ, so my guess is the leader of a group of wizards presumed dead for decades isn’t exactly on someone’s radar
While the Jedi seemed to be known around the inner circle of planets, the subsequent movies suggest that not a ton of people knew much, or anything, about the jedi in the outer rim planets.
