Pointing it out is fine. Making a joke about it is fine. Acting indignant about it just pathetic and sad. When GOT had the Starbucks cup fiasco that was at least the cherry on top of a great big apathy sundae. Everyone was checked out of the show by that point and the cup just put a spotlight on it. This is not that. Star Wars fans are the worst bunch of entitled babies in all of fandom.
Def got the impression at the end of the episode that they’re trying to make an army/squad of pseudo-Vaders with that armor and the cloning.
:deep breath: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Spoiler Rosario looks and acts the part so well. Can’t wait for her series
Spoiler Beskar can stop a light saber ? Grogu and Anakin classmates? How can this Morgan chick put up such an fight v Ashoka Does Luke come grab Grogu from the temple? Tythan!! Thrawn!!! Biggest question is if Ashoka was so easily found, where was she during the Galaxtic Civil War? Rosario killed it as Ashoka. We got an owl and a loth cat too. ok that’s all for now. I think.
Wonder if this leads to a sort of Avengers/ Defenders arc in the future with a Bo, Mando, Ahsoka, Sabine? Ezra? team up.
Bit of trivia from the episode Spoiler magistrate actress is the goddaughter of Bruce Lee and her father was a training partner of his
I watched most of Rebels and Clone Wars but the details didn’t stick. Help me understand the temple reference.
I’m pretty sure it doesn’t come up in Clone Wars or Rebels. The temple at Tython is a deep cut from the EU. It’s where the Jedi were first founded (went by Je’daii back then). In the EU it was one of the ancestral home planets of the Jedi.
This was easily the most “mystic” heavy episode of the show thus far, but I love the way Filoni kept the focus on the title character and his uncertainty and confusion about all things Jedi, despite how much we the audience obviously know. It felt true to the core of the show. Overall, loved the episode. The middle of this season has been lightyears better than the sagging middle of season one. It feels like the latter seasons of Rebels, where there were so many threads and potential areas the show could digress into. It makes me excited, not only for the rest of this season, but for a third season and potential spin-off shows, too.
Spoiler They showed a loth cat which was connected to Ezra in Rebels, so maybe. If Thrawn is pulling strings 5 years after ROTJ, Ezra has to be somewhere. Is Ashoka still looking for Ezra after all this time?
thats who I was thinking with Spoiler the Thrawn name drop At the very least I REALLY hope it’s not Luke also another possibility is Cal or Cere from the Fallen Order game
