It sounds like something an orc would say when I select him in Warcraft II As with most Star Wars names, it'll grow on me the more I say it out loud and with a straight face.
fine with it, seems like a name that species would have as long as it wasn’t something like Steve or something hyphenated
Spoiler Ezra was last seen disappearing with Thrawn. Ahsoka was last seen leaving to hunt for Ezra. With Ahsoka basically confirming Thrawn is still alive and back, I’m almost certain Ezra is going to be the one who answers the call. [spoiler/]
Was that back when lightsabers had backpacks? I vaguely remember some dark horse era issues that had those, but then the founding of the Jedi stuff seems more recent and maybe had a chick riding a flying dragon like in heavy metal. Tython was also in the star wars: the old republic game.
Still 3 more episodes left where nothing has been shown from trailers gonna need a resupply of popcorn
Watched this morning w. Meatball Spoiler they did a really good job with a live action Ahsoka, Meatball was worried she’d look janky. I got goosebumps with the Thrawn name drop. I only know him from the Heir to the Empire series, tried to explain him to Meatball. Didn’t realize he was in Rebels. So now we are watching Rebels. We cranked through 10 straight episodes and it’s really enjoyable.
I never watched Clone Wars or Rebels. Only half paid attention while my daughter randomly binged during quarantine. But I found myself really drawn to Ahsoka and Thrawn. Gonna have to rewatch and pay closer attention.
Watched a season or two of Clone Wars, never bothered with Rebels until today, I like it a lot and they got some serious talent voicing it
Don’t open unless you are an undeniable Ahsoka fan boi like myself Spoiler I’m all for the drama, but the final fight, c’mon. You’re telling me the badass that dueled Vader to a stalemate, outfought two inquisitors at once, and captured Maul isn’t disarming that bitch in under 10 seconds? I was really concerned about the voice but it didn’t bug me like I thought it would. Would really like the future Ahsoka spin off to be a prequel about her and Sabine finding Ezra and Thrawn.
Spoiler I had that initial reaction about the 1v1 but I chalked it up to her being a bit older and probably somewhat tired from previous fight
That was better than most Star Wars movies. Wow. Visually amazing. The backgrounds. Best episode yet. Loved it.
Spoiler I also thought they might say she was limiting the use of her force abilities to make the fight more “fair.”
Spoiler Ashoka was trying to get info out of her. She couldn’t straight murk her so she was toying w her a little bit. That’s what I’m telling myself to make me feel better struggling in that fight
Spoiler the woman was also trained by Thrawn and had a beskar spear. I think she’s supposed to be a capable fighter. No match for Ahsoka, but with her trying to get info from her and not going all out, it’s not surprising the woman got a few shots in.
Can we focus on Filoni... The amount of shit delivered in this episode is crazy and they trust Filoni to nail it and he does
I want to see the Jedi-Mandalorian wars so bad. Then have it lead into the Jedi civil war. Would be incredible to see.
I also just remembered I ate a small amount of shrooms after drinking. But still. Great episode. Visuals were amazing.
So Ahsoka is almost definitely getting her own series, right? You don’t cast Rosario Dawson and drop Easter Eggs like that without future plans focusing on her, IMO.
I’d love at least the first season showing Ahsoka and Sabine searching for/finding Ezra/Thrawn and how (at least) Thrawn made it back. Ezra is certainly the most likely Jedi to answer Grogu’s call at the Jedi Temple. Unless they’re willing to recast a younger Luke.
I say it's a headfake. There will be no Jedi there. The Empire tracking his ship will catch up to him and maybe kidnap Grogu.
If we don’t see at least a holograph of Thrawn this season, then I think an Ahsoka series is definitely happening and they save him, Ezra, and other characters from Rebels for when that airs. Also, I LOVE the idea of Fassbender as Thrawn. That would be absolute perfect casting, if he would accept the role.
I don't know how they could; Mando is only 9 years post-Jedi and MH is 40 years post-Jedi ATP. Fassbender or Benderduck Cumbiboo.
