You make a good point... Considering all the cameos we go from various different people RDJ would've been natural considering his relationship to Faverau. Especially since it's not like he's doing shit else at the moment
With how much money I’m sure he’s amassed, doubt I’d put in much more effort than to record some vocal tracks from the comfort of my own home
Had a friend of mine say Grogu was a useless and pointless character. I’m thinking of cutting all ties with her.
A man has to have standards. And she moved out to California numerous years ago so it would basically be me just not texting her anymore.
"We didn't want to spoil the surprise during the big Kathleen Kennedy announcement of all the shows [during Investor Day earlier this month], so they let me keep this one a secret, " Favreau says. "So this is actually separate from The Mandalorian season 3. But what we didn't say in that announcement is the next show coming up — what Kathy called 'the next chapter' — is going to be The Book of Boba Fett, and then we go into production right after that on The Mandalorian, back with the main character that we all know and love... pretty soon following that. There's a lot of Star Wars content coming out, I think they announced 10 projects, I think this will be 11." This raises the possibility that The Mandalorian itself won't air until 2022.
Yeah, pretty sure this is all but confirmed after Mando season three was removed from Disney's "2021 on Disney+" press release a week ago.
I think we're all just waiting to see if he talks backwards like Yoda or if Yoda was just fucking with everybody for 900 years.
Man what an episode. Kinda emotional at the end. Got teary-eyed. The Lattes and Windsor might of helped. That's some incredible television.
Probably watched the Luke sequence over a dozen times at this point. THAT was all I wanted. Just one fucking scene of him at peak power levels.
I binged both seasons over the last week. A really well done show, especially compared to the shit that's been pushed out over the last 30 years. Unfortunately, I accidentally saw a pretty big hint at the end on Twitter about Luke coming back. With that said, did you guys really not pick up that it was likely going to be him when they took Grogu to an island to summon a powerful Jedi that could train him? Also, picking apart the CGI on Young Luke is silly, who cares? Regardless, as many have said, they could've goof'd that finale in so many ways but they did a great job. They did an excellent job with the Mando/Grogu relationship, it was sad to watch them part. Finally, The Last Jedi is absolutely fucking awful and the worst piece of Star Wars content I've ever seen. I think a lot of us thought that was a possible outcome. But most didn't think they'd have the balls to do it or (if they did have the balls) do it well.
The “25 live action doll” version of Grogu was underneath our Christmas tree. I may or may not of tickled his head until he summoned the force...then I laid him down and let him rest, it’s a lot for a little guy.
i binged season two over the last 2-3 nights. really enjoyed it and thought it was better than season 1, which was just okay imo. i had read/heard that ahsoka was in an episode but that was incredible and maybe my favorite episode of the entire show. had no idea about luke's return. really fun to watch. i've read some wiki pages and seen some of the cartoons so I know the names of ahsoka, thrawn, and ezra but i'm not an expert there. still thought it was super cool. also, people who don't like the last jedi say ESB is their favorite movie but actually prefer revenge of the sith for the pew pew pew action.
Why did I get so damn emotional seeing Luke? I’m such a fucking fanboy for this show finally giving me what I wanted.
I want F & F talking about the decision. I want shots of Mark Hammill recording lines. This is bonkers.
Exactly. Who the hell watches The Making Of for something before actually watching the thing it's about?
I'm so proud of my daughter. She tried to introduce Mandalorian to her other 6/7 year old friends tonight and got big mad at them for referring to the child as baby yoda at the end of S1E1. She was like "no, his name is Grogu!" and skipped ahead to the S2 Ahsoka episode to make her point.
