My kid got one of the Grogu animatronic dolls that everyone has now and loses his shit if one of us accidentally call it baby yoda.
So how long does Disney put up with Gina’s Twitter? Cliffs: she’s anti-mask, anti-BLM, transphobic and believes the election was a huge fraud.
i get a Chyna vibe from her. she'll get fired from mando and her spinoff and end up 10 years from now making a porn where she snaps a dudes neck like sonya blade in mortal kombat movie.
Even I shall admit that glove and green blade was better (just barely slightly) than the white regular and shots style twin sabers lighting in that smoke. BARELY I say.
I'm going barely be on the other side of that fence. But I would also vote Cory Booker for President just to have Ahsoka be the 1st Lady, so I'm a little biased.
I think I knew Ahsoka was coming and up until the confirmation I was for sure it would be Ezra saving the day with the clues Filoni dropped. The surprise gives it the slight nod.
I’m not a huge fan of the color of green, and those white sabers against that desaturated burnt forest environment was chef’s kiss
I’ve probably watched the Luke scene at least 50 times. I don’t regret one single viewing. Not. One. Time.
If Mark has anything to do with it she's out. He's extremely vocal about supporting everything she's against. I'm not holding out any hopes that she's gone though.
Well that sucks. I saw she re-tweeted newsmax and Michael Flynn shit. That alone should get her kicked off the show. I couldn't scroll anymore of her feed to see what other God awful shit she has said.
having views is one thing. using a platform like Disney/Star Wars to promote them is another. ultimately it’s their call if they want that associated with their product.
Has she linked her views and SW? Like has she said something along the lines of Cara Dune wouldn't wear a mask or something?
that's two different things imo. There's a difference between using a SW press event to spread your conspiracy theories and doing it on your personal social media. The bar for what gets you fired is a lot less when you directly associate it with your job.
ok I don’t really care to argue semantics. the point is if Disney fires her because they don’t want her views associated with them it’s not cancel culture, it’s capitalism.
No argument there. They are more than entitled to get rid of her if they think her views negatively impact the perception of the brand. But so far it seems that the people associated with the show want her around so I think she is safe for now.
Gina's character getting killed off because of her real life political views and not because she's a terrible actor with a forgettable role is so 2021.
That’s the funniest part about all of it to me. Like, her character could never appear on the show again and it’d be better off from it. She’s not worth the headache if I’m Disney.
