shameful. they put Laundrie in a hotel for DV victims and made Gabby stay in the fan! she had a bruise on her face and they were on the verge of charging HER for DV. those cops were the biggest bad guys in the doc.
Yeah this 22 year old girl that weighs 100 pounds soaking wet and has bruises on her face and arm definitely isn’t a victim of domestic violence. Not to mention the fact a witness called in and reported her being slapped Honestly the cop comparing her to his wife was telling
Those cops were looking to get out of paper work. Totally seemed like they were making up reasons to get out of dealing with the stop. The old alligator arming policy.
When a 13-year-old is accused of the murder of a classmate, his family, therapist and the detective in charge are all left asking: what really happened?
Oh shit. We have Tom Hardy and the Director of The Raid teaming up. Also Forrest Whitaker. After a drug deal gone wrong, a bruised detective must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician's estranged son, while unravelling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city. HAVOC is a high octane action thriller written and directed by Gareth Evans (The Raid, Gangs of London), and starring Tom Hardy, Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones with Yeo Yann Yann, Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker.
Just finished the Netflix documentary on the Joplin tornado. VERY well done. Highly recommend it. **do not watch if you have storm anxiety **
Jose Andres insta post: It’s a special tribute to Ferran @elbullifoundation_ferranadria and @albert.adria.acosta….the magic of elBulli that has spread to every corner of the world." Might as well be porn.
I'm fascinated to see how they navigate that episode or if they just ignore huge portions of his career.
Three is honestly one of the best bottle episodes I've seen. Actor playing the shrink was outstanding. Especially hard to watch cuz lord knows I bounced off the nascent "incel" stuff a bunch of times in my teen years and had major "nice guy" energy in those days, and you watch it going "yeah I could def see given the current internet age going that way".
Number 24 is good. Based on real life story of Gunnar Sønsteby. He was Norwegian civilian in WW2 and Nazi slayer.
Binge watching Adolescence RN 20 + minutes into episode 4 and they have almost lost me with following the family all morning
Cool cast There are friends for a reason, and friends for all seasons - THE FOUR SEASONS follows long-time friends through the ups and downs of life over the course of four seasonal vacations (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter). Together they have a lot to unpack. Starring Tina Fey, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, Erika Henningsen, with Colman Domingo and #SteveCarell. Created and written by #TinaFey, Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield (30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt)
I enjoyed it. Bunch of 1000 year old immortals doing CIA work because they literally can’t die. They get caught up in some kind of conspiracy. Spoiler: Sequel Setup Is supposedly dealing with one of their own who was sentenced to death by drowning in the ocean 500 years before the story inside an Iron Maiden. However, since they can’t die, she’s been reviving and drowning in the ocean the whole time, driving her insane.
I highly recommend a rewatch of love, death, robots. Especially after getting high that was redondant my bad
Netflix rolled out dialogue-only subtitles this week, a new option for people who love watching shows with the captions on — even if they don’t actually need them. The streaming service is catering to a large number of viewers who — for whatever reason — tend to turn on subtitles or captions even when they speak the language and can hear perfectly fine. The company’s traditional option — called subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing — spells out when there’s a [phone notification ping], [rustling newspaper] or [indistinct chatter], which might not be what hearing people are looking for. Netflix plans to add pure dialogue, same-language subtitles to its original shows going forward, in English as well as other languages. The new version debuted with the fifth and final season of “You,” the stalker thriller series starring Penn Badgley, according to Thursday’s announcement. https://www.washingtonpost.com/style/2025/04/26/netflix-subtitles-dialog-only/
This is awesome. I started this years ago after reading an article that it helps your kids learn to read faster. Then Hollywood decided sound was only for movie theater viewing so you can't hear the dialogue clearly without the explosions and shit being so damn loud my wife yells at me. My kids read great, but I'm still using subtitles.
You’re a wild creature. Pass out pre-8 PM game 1 of our series and posting absolute crazy shit all night last night as a fella crazy person, you kinda fascinate me
week versus weekend is the difference. I keep a pretty good sleep schedule in the week. Friday and saturday I stay up drink a few beers and eat thc oil. I got a little high friday and rewatched a few épisodes of season one, the first season is incredible.
