When there was an issue about blood, I thought it was about to turn into a whole ghost thing and I was going to shut it off.
On my list to watch at work today: L4yercake -- It's awesome, but haven't seen it in 13 years Paddleton -- Still haven't seen it, but this thread makes me want to go with that. Knightwatch -- I've made it to episode 4. It's ok. I hope it gets better like Last Kingdom did. I can't watch anything with too much action, limited dialogue, or requires me reading captions at work, because those require me to be looking at the screen the entire time. With slower, dialogue driven movies I can get away with not watching every second and still know what's going on.
Just finished Chambers. It’s a little slow but I really enjoyed it. Ending is really good. Also shot really well.
What series that's on Netflix should I start watching now? I'm looking for something that's finished so I can binge the whole thing over the next several weeks and not just catch up and then have to wait for the next season. I just got done with House of Cards and sure the last couple seasons took a nosedive, it was still a fantastic show. I've already seen Breaking Bad and it's damn good although I was never able to get into Better Call Saul. The Wire (like many others) is my favorite series of all time. Suggestions?
You should continu better call Saul, dark but it’s not for everybody since it’s subtitled. Worth it though Have you seen stranger things?
No. Isn't that the one with kids as the main characters? Also, isn't it still in production? I want a series thats done. Also, based on the titled, I'm guessing thats horror type genre? If so, not for me. I'm looking for a legitimately good "classic" series probably in the drama type category.
Yes it’s not completely over, I thought you meant not on tv right now. The new season is coming up soon Dark is not over yet either
Santa Clarita diet. 3 seasons. Just got cancelled but the season finale of 3 can be used as a series finale really
Peaky Blinders is awesome. Not done but they have 4 seasons up. Just finished a rewatch and it’s just amazing. Lots of stars and great storyline. It may end in an actual theatrical movie release.
I will definitely remember this for the future. Forgotten about this show. Good suggestion. Between this and West Wing so far.
The original premise was good but then they decided to go off on this tangent just for a dumb cliffhanger.
Anyone seen Dead To Me? Christina Applegate in it. Watched the first couple of episodes. Still not sure.
Finally watching A Quiet Place on Amazon, probably not necessary but I"ll spoiler anyway Spoiler Just got to the opening credits, was sitting here for about 30 seconds being pissed off at the kid for taking the batteries when OH HOLY FUCK and now I'm telling you guys about it. That is all Actually that's not all, what in the world are these fictional parents doing letting him walk alone in the back like that for, maybe they didn't like him because he's always stealing batteries. I think that's all
Agreed, the last 45 minutes or so were relentless with the tension and demanded my attention like few movies can
Watched highwaymen last night, thought it was meh Only stuff of note was Harrelson/Costner back and forth and Costner visiting Clyde’s father
i enjoyed it plenty as I like Costner and Harrelson. Was enough of those two that I didn't regret the 2 hours it took to watch. Liked learning a bit with the wiki page open on how they tracked and caught them
