Agreed, the way they come back in time to show why a character is so violent or agressive or whatever his trait is is amazing. Everything makes sense yet it’s hard to know who is good or bad, nothing is black and white.
If you're looking for suspense/thriller, then go no further than Wheelman. While I haven't finished it yet, I'm about halfway through and really enjoying it. 89% on Rotten Tomatoes as well.
I started watching Dark, but I just finding the dubbing too distracting. It's like watching an old kung fu movie from the 70s.
It's actually really good. It was a bit distracting for me too, but I fought through it and am really glad I did. You can actually switch it to captions if that helps at all. Looking forward to another season for sure.
Watching Icarus, since it won the best documentary Oscar last night. It makes me want to start a cycle of epo.
when we first met was okay. but if Alexandra Daddario wasn't in it, I probably would have turned it off after the ~2nd time he did the groundhog day do-over. Instead of turning it off after about an hour
I actually kind of like DeVine, but yeah if not for her being insanely hot I probably would have bailed.
I don't think it's a Netflix Original, but it's on Netflix, but I just finished Pirates of Somalia and was very much entertained by it. It will not be winning any awards, but have no problem recommending it to anyone who is casually interested in the topic. I'm also kind of a sucker for movies based on true stories.
Money Heist/La Casa de Papel was pretty awesome. There's english voices/subtitles for those that need it.
I mean...it's not a good movie, the plot is all over the place, and it seems nobody knows what the hell is going on. I still liked it though.
The thread on this lady was pretty good, and I had a fun time reading about this story. Excited to watch this.
hood b. goode change title to official netflix thread or a variation of that. most of content on netflix doesn't deserve its own thread.
more like get fucked by pious assholes that can't realize that every decision they make that doesn't involve him equals a bad time. i just binged the first two seasons in a few days on flights. really dig the show.
I mean.....how much Netflix content have you seen? Imagine waking up from a coma now, the binge watching would be endless.
I signed up like 4 years ago and it's impossible to make a dent. More new shit popping up faster than you can watch it, especially with them releasing some original production seemingly every day anymore. And I rarely ever watch a movie on there either.
I turned on "Ibiza" and lasted maybe 10 minutes Its a race to the bottom with all these original movies right now
Well I will say...I haven't seen the movie Interstellar before and a co-worker told me I needed to watch it. I checked and it's not on Netflix. I had the urge to watch The Big Lebowski yesterday...checked and it's not on Netflix. I know there's endless amounts of shit on there but it's almost overwhelming and the 2 things I know I've wanted to watch, aren't on there.
I unabashedly like those shitty teen movies. Sundown is another one. I know they are awful but they are great laundry day shit.
That happens a lot. Best bet is to read about stuff online and then log in. Narco's? Orange new black?
Last Kingdom is a TV series that I've really enjoyed. 2 seasons. It's not the quality of GoT, The Wire, or Sopranos, but I can say that I've very much enjoyed every episode. Holy shit. I just realized you probably haven't seen Black Mirror yet either, right?
No. I don't know what that is. I also haven't seen Breaking Bad yet and that's on Netflix so I know I'll need to binge that at some point.
