I was doing this scavenger hunt/pub crawl (we won, tyvm) on Saturday and we'd pop into bars or restaurants for a minute and I caught the GT score at 14-0 and the day got away from me and the next time I saw the score the game had ended and I learned they gave up 38 unanswered lmao. apparently they had co-DCs or something because one of them got demoted yesterday.

 

Just a stop gap for the new ad to get things organized before he makes a real hire

Just sitting around thinking how funny it is that Mario Cristobal earned his first ACC home win against Clemson of all teams.

it will obviously be less funny after Clemson bashes our brains in on Saturday.

 

gonna be tough for him to build on that with those powerhouse Hoos coming to town though

 

no doubt about, that is the type of win that galvanizes a team like Miami. beating the preseason conference champs in a thriller like they did is a tremendous accomplishment.

Was Drones hurt the 1st few games?

 

He didn't start until week 3 and the offense didn't really become catered to him until a couple games ago (the Pitt game). once they figured that out we've been rolling for the most part. he's still very rough around the edges, he sat at Baylor so it was like two years since he actually played in high school.

it was omega-dumb not to start Drones in the first place but the past is the past. we're without question a better team than Marshall or Purdue and would be 5-2 or 6-1 in another scenario. I think we're a threat to win out (conversely, we could absolutely lose out, too).
