Yeah I went when they first opened and now I can’t recall. Thinking it’s probably a no.

I would wear a jacket to highlands, hot and hot and bottega restaurant. None need a tie.

 

Really hope they find Cupcake alive and well. This story is bizarre and extremely sad.

 

7.1 is about right for post office. Slice would’ve got a 7.4. Area 41 maybe a 7.6.

I work near Area 41 and for years just got a slice for lunch which was meh but pizza and recently got a whole pie and WOW

 

What the fuck is area 41

 

I think the crawfish and conecuh pizza at Bottega Cafe is the best one I’ve had in Bham. Also love Bettola.

For casual pie I would take Post Office over Slice.

Like a Devinci’s pie for ridiculous amounts of cheese. Like Tortugas when I’m in the mood for deep dish. Enjoy Davenport’s for nostalgia even though I know it’s not really very good. Hate Dave’s.

Never had Area 41 or Iron City.

 

Never cared much for Post Office Pies. It's good but it's nothing remotely special or outstanding. Barstool guy nailed it.

Dave's in Homewood has better pizza than the vast majority of places in the area. Really good wings too.

The Birmingham area includes Over the Mountain not over both mountains.

 

No sir. No sir. Try the Sweet Tang (BBQ chicken pizza).

 

Post office pies has inconsistent service but their pizza is absolutely top tier. Also John Hall is one my favorite dudes in Bham.

 

My pizza test for all spots is how good is their pizza margherita. Basically how good are your base ingredients. Post Office pies is outstanding and Bettola is as well.

I'll admit I'm a sucker for Davenport's as well for the nostalgia factor. The hot hipster waitresses too.

I know it’s frozen ingredients on top, but give me a pitcher of beer or one of those cheap bottles of Chianti and I will go to town.

 

Slice is probably my favorite slice in Birmingham, but Filling station is relatively close to me and I love it.

I always walk by Bongiorno on the way to pick up my overpriced Surin. Now I really want to try it.
