Doesn't go into affect until 5PM tomorrow. We can still go to Chapter while our wives get their nails done.
Since over 75% are turned away at the drive ups I would multiply by 4 and that’s where we were 3 days ago.
At least. It’s also telling to me that our confirmed cases are growing at the same rate as some of our much more populated neighbors...
Half of it is due to their suppliers and they could only run a half shift a day so at that point just close it all
Yeah they were having problems getting parts before the virus. Also ZF, their axel supplier, is currently on strike.
At the end...”the flu kill more folks than that did...so, what’s up? We gon die anyway...” I think that might actually be Dave Chappelle doing performance art in disguise and reviving Tyrone Biggums...
I contemplated that move as well. Saw they were offering pretty good prices. 18 oz cowboy ribeyes for $15.
Darrel O’Quinn posted last night that we should expect more restrictions to be forthcoming. Sounds like we are going to follow other state’s with a shelter in place order.
Evans is back at it this week. I’d also heavily suggest checking out Red Mountain Crawfish Returns (On FB). Same guys who used to park at Avondale. Picked up 6lbs of bugs this weekend that we’re some of the best I’ve had. $4/lb boiled, $2/lb live. They park behind JimNNicks and Hamburger Heaven on Oxmoor. Sold out this weekend, but will be back this next weekend.
I hope that if Bham does the shelter in place, we at least get MB & Homewood to go along with it, or it's meaningless.
They won’t. And therefore it’s nothing more than a meaningless flex. Trump is going to end up killing a bunch of red state folks that voted for him
Not to sound insensitive to the human cost, but it will really suck for the city service industry if there's not a coordinated response with the other municipalities. I realize this is a bigger thing and that's a secondary concern, but I feel bad for new businesses here in the city.
Sure you all have heard similar, but apparently the UAB nurses are already down to only 1 mask per ~15 hour shift.
Also, having a discussion with my wife over whether she should go to Saw's in Crestline Park to get bushwhackers. I said that is basically ground zero for this virus, but a bushwhacker sure does sound tasty. Am I overreacting?
And shutting down Bham won’t do anything bc most severe cases in the area will likely be brought to one of the Bham hospitals for treatment
