The huge scoreboard will block some of the city skyline & red mountain but I guess the sun would be more of an issue if they put it in the north end of the stadium.

Just got back and it is very well run. No waiting and it was a piece of cake. They said that Chick-Fil-A taught them how to deal with long lines. I guess it worked because there were no long lines. I was expecting the worst and figured it would be a few hours but we had a 9:25am appointment and we were out of there at 9:45.

Only guaranteed issue is all this water going into a hard freeze tonight. Roads will probably not be great to drive on tonight after sunset and most of tomorrow morning. Small chance this switches over to a freezing rain this afternoon

It looks like line where precipitation is switching from rain to sleet/freezing rain to our west has a lot more moisture behind it than they forecast. Definitely not a good thing for west Alabama and could mean a wintry mix for us later which will cause worse ice issues tonight/tomorrow morning
yeah after seeing that start coming down i'm really glad we already got my kids and we are all at home working. A year ago i'd be sweating it out at the office wondering if my boss was gonna let me leave.
