you're going to come away from Highland park with a smile on your face.

 

A 13 playing Highland Park and Farmlinks in the same day is going to be real frustrated when he shoots 63 in the morning and 103 in the afternoon.

 

Ross Bridge and Oxmoor are the hardest but if you play the right tee boxes you’ll be ok.

 

HP is a par 70 with 3 drivable par 4s and 3 par threes under 90 yards.

 

first hole is drivable with a hybrid and it's straight downhill. that's the course you play after you've had a few rough rounds at the RTJs

 

Legend has it Rickie rattled the cup hitting a 3-iron off the tee.

I wouldn’t call Helen a steakhouse, but it’s definitely the main event there. And it’s best one Ive had in Bham.

paramount’s solid for this. Not always the most comfortable spot to sit for a long time though.

We are slightly lacking in quality sports bars but a good approximation is a brewery with a good food truck for the evening—or just back forty brewery, which has tremendous food always

Their sours are incredible. That tiki/beach collection they've had going is really good. The light visions series is extremely good. Trim Tab is far and away the best brewery in Birmingham and one of the best in the southeast . It's not even up for debate. Literally if you think otherwise you're an idiot.

 

I like almost all the tiki/beach line as well.

If I wanted a place to get good food and beer and casually watch sports then I would go to Back Forty.

 

I really liked that one as well. I'll meet you in the publix parking lot at your preferred time.

 

that marshmallow/cloud hazy ipa was the best ipa I’ve ever had by far wish it had been permanent

 

Some of those Garage Series sours Monday Night puts out are top notch.
