i enjoy it. Definitely a solid lunch spot. There’s one near my MIL in trussville and i’m like 2 minutes from lakeview. i’ve eaten there a surprising amount now that I’m thinking about it

They are experiencing an extreme staff shortage but food was good and service was good all things considered.

Highland's Bar and Grill not reopening until 2022. Looks like my Birthday Dinner plans have to be modified for another year.

 

I’m just glad they are reopening because for awhile I don’t think that guaranteed

Speaking of sucks, I just found out Barber's was out of business. No Barber's Egg Nog for the Christmas season sucks.

I thought the company that purchased them shut down the Barber's line. Hence why you can't buy Barber products.

Hookah bar and lounge. There’s a bunch in Atlanta, this is the first franchise of it here. Was told the next place in that spot would be “a lot
more chill” than 1st & 23rd was - that’s a lie. If you’re looking for 2/200 bottle specials on ‘yak, you’re in luck though.

It’s honestly just a ratchet version of Casanova down the block.

right, like mom's only works as a new "dive" cause they nailed the decor, and it's def in a cheaper space than somewhere downtown, so their menu can also reflect dive vibes
