Just an absolute tear for Felix
Was cool to hear from Simon
Alcaraz-Rune is super high level. Holger up a set, 4-all in the 2nd.
Alcaraz withdraws I see. Felix Rune rematch from the finals last week tomorrow
Holger ends FAA’s reign of terror.
A star is born! Holger Rune defeats Novak Djokovic from a set down to win Paris Masters. 3-6, 6-3, 7-5.
Kid beat Wawrinka, Hubie, Rublev, Alcaraz, FAA and Novak to win it. 5 consecutive top-10 wins.
Two 19 year olds in the Top 10!
This is very very strange
I don't like Novak but I don't think it's strange at all. If anything I'm not sure why a professional tennis player needs anything for a match like that. Why would it not be on him already?
I don’t know what it is, but just the way the people were hiding it and doing shady shit was weird
Leylah gives Trevisan a DOUBLE BAGEL. Thats crazy
Medvedev serving for the match against Novak at 5-4 in the 3rd. Been a great one.
Novak does the thing where he stops missing and breaks Daniil right back. 5-all.
ashamed i ever pulled for this guy
Just a cunt.
An interesting thread going on
DAVIS CUP CHAMPIONS!
Well, you were only playing Australia...
Seriously though, congrats - I'm surprised it took so long for Canada's first title considering the talent of these 2 guys, but I guess it's only recently that Felix has gone to the next level.
From the team behind F1: Drive to Survive, Break Point follows a diverse group of tennis players on and off the court as they compete in gruelling slams with hopes of winning a final and even bigger dreams of becoming world number one. Break Point gets up close and personal with top players on the tennis circuit through an entire year travelling across the globe for all four Grand Slams and the ATP and WTA tours.
Fuck ya. Gonna be awesome
1 month till the Aussie
And two weeks until United Cup, the new mixed event that's basically Hopman Cup 2.0.
Best thing I read all day.
It’s weird Canada not in it. Our ranking wasn’t good enough
Didn’t realize his dad is the gators tennis coach
Yeah I don’t know too much about the young guys like others. I did see he ripped off three challenger tournament wins in a row though.
I watch way too much challenger tennis because I bet it, he started off shaky in the first couple. Losing matches he shouldn’t have. Then went on the run. He got that amazing serve and killer forehand. I can’t wait to see how progresses.
Pegula-Kvitova from down under on TC.
was his dad his coach as a kid? Wondering where he trained since he never left USA til now.
I have 0 idea. That’s a SC or Fran Tarkenton question
2 days into the season and we already have shot of the year
one of those rare exceptions where it worked out for a kid never leaving the confines of his comfort zone
Lol what happened?
Match is tonight
Thiem had to play qualies for Adelaide and lost Q1 to Kwon 6-4, 6-1. Dunno if he’s hurt again or what.
Kwon no easy matchup but getting blown out in the 2nd was crazy
Bibi beating Mugu in 3 after getting bageled in the 1st and Mugu serving for the match at 5-3 in the 2nd
I've caught a lot of the UC over the past few days and Iga's ready to play the AO right now. I mean, she is ready to go. Whereas there are a bunch of guys in pretty scratchy form, like Zverev (understandable) and Rafa. I hope she can last the next 4 weeks and hasn't peaked way too early.
Ha, a breadstick to Zverev against Fritz in the UC.
I expect him to do better in the 2nd, but it's good to see.
WTA just keeps pumping them out.
Rafa now 0-2 at United Cup, losing from a set up in both. Norrie and now De Minaur.
I am at the juncture of the year where I consider a T+ subscription for the year. It’s affordable, I’ll watch it but ultimately they are such a shit channel I want no part in giving them money. It’s bad enough that it’s the only reason I have a TV package: I have to get on that Wendel site and just cast anything I want to watch.
Also, I absolutely would never get a thing done, but a red zone like feed for the first few days of majors and even 1000s would be fantastic.
