The only good news for me, I’ll be in Dubai for the finals so it’ll be noon starts instead of 3am. Excited for that
Now Paul breaks right away. I’m going to bed before my head breaks from this roller coaster of the last 20 mins
This is so good. Ben has such a deceptive wind up. He doesn’t really show which side he’s going until the last second and it’s such a short loaded motion, but with insane power.
Happy for Tommy to finally break through like this. Ben Shelton #43 in the world come Monday morning. A dream two weeks for him.
Even Novak seems a little bored. Thought him giving extended praise to and saying he missed Roger was notable after the match today.
the way the draw played out and still able to get him +110 in the 3rd round. The way I looked at was you were getting him at +110 vs tsitsipas
My point was the way the draw played in the 3rd round. Dimitrov than De Minaur/Bonzi. Then Rune/Rublev/Evans/Humbert. Then Semis of Popyrin/Shelton/Wolf/Mmoh/Murray/RBA/Paul/Brooksby I just didn't see any type of resistance from any of them.
People get into gambling ruts by making parlays assuming -1000s are free wins. So I was just saying that getting djoker +110 to win isn't the same as getting him +110 v tsisipas
Resistance is maybe three guys in the world at this point. Nadal, was out. Carlos, out. Medvedev, certainly was our last hope.
Just to add to my last post, also I get your point and I am not arguing or deflecting. I don’t think Tsisipas stands a chance.
This, not enough variety of shots point to point to hang with Djoker. I want to make a case for Karen to beat Stef given the intensity of both guys last few matches. Nishioka laid a major egg vs Karen, then Sebby got hurt so he’s been able to move to semis without breaking much of a sweat. Stef had that war with sinner then a hard fought three sets vs Lehecka… The problem is Tsits owns Karen H2H, 5-0 in non exhibitions. I think the difference in effort exerted last few matches is why Tsits isn’t a favorite of -300 or more.
Played Rybakina -2.5 games at -140. Here’s to a good first set and large middle opp Smaller play on Linette o3.5 aces +100. Was interested on the under in her double fault prop but u2.5 -160 is a bit too slim for me.
The way Rybakina is hitting the ball this tournament, there is 2 keys to beating her. Got to have that first serve percentage HIGH. 65%+ Also, need to take your chances when returning. Got to get it deep or she is crushing your soul this tournament
