I don’t quite get this comment. Its not Carlos fault he’s coming off an injury, the media coverage for the sport is generally horrible and lazy or that he’s the most promising young player in 20 years?
Brouwer got some talent. But hes in BAD BAD form. Just another kid like Van Riji having a good tournament in his home country. Brouwer should be lighting up Challengers up and I continue to get fucked betting him
It’s more a comment about the laziness. It happens in all sports. The next Michael Jordan, the next Tom Brady, etc. these guys are one of a kind so it annoys me.
That’ll be a first time in the top 120 for Brouwer. He’s got winnable match against fellow countryman Griekspoor Also FAA vs Medvedev tomorrow
Garcia has to prove she's not just another Kontaveit who somehow found herself in the Top 5 for no reason...
SC Fran Tarkenton Do you know about this kid Abedllah Shelbayh. Guess he was a Gator with Shelton for 1 year and than turned pro. Been watching him in the Challenger circuit this week. Dont know if he'd ever crack the Top 50. Not much offensive threat but decent defensive skills
Watched him a little at Florida. Frankly was surprised he turned pro as he’s better known for doubles, but I don’t know if he has financial pressures or something back home that required that. Played at Rafa’s academy and you can tell defensively.
That makes sense with Doubles. Got his first Top 100 win beating Jason Kubler today. If he can get a win vs Caruso, it will really be interesting to see what hes got defensively. Would get to play Struff or Kokkinakis in the final. Also has a to Doha next week.
I love seeing Damir Dzumhur and remembering when he was ranked a Top 25 player once. Lord he was bad.
If we got the Doha final we deserve, then we've clearly been very good boys. This is going to be a cracker.
Sinner has been so good lately. I think he ends the Dutch hopes in Rotterdam with ease. And I think Medvedev takes care of business vs a resurgent Grigor. Sinner beating Daniil in the final would be swell.
I turn on Dmitrov and he has a pulse today. Still going to lose but amazing to catch a glimpse of him before he does every single thing you’re not supposed to do.
Feels like the kind of matchup where his lack of weaponry gets exposed, but happy for the kid regardless.
Yep. Im very curious to see that matchup. He was either getting Kokkinakis or Struff both with the high power offensive game
She lost 5 games in 3 matches against #40 in the world Danielle Collins, #11 in the world Veronika Kudermetova and #3 in the world Pegula Her level is absolutely insane and dominating its so crazy
Danielle really off the boil. It's a shame - I really though she was going to go somewhere after the 2022 AO.
