I'm trying to warm to her as a player, but I don't know WTF she was thinking standing at the net like that. It's like she lost her mind for a moment and forgot what country she was from.
Early break for Iga. Going to be a short day for Coco if she can’t get the first serve percentage above water.
Coco breaks right back. Good stuff from Woz and Lindsay in the booth — Coco taking MPH’s off the FH and hitting more moon balls with it to try and get Iga out of rhythm.
Agreed from the beginning of the match as well. Talked about mentality and a few other items to keep the story going. Also give me Woz over anyone else in the booth.
never been a fan of mouratoglou but figures Corey Gauff would latch on to him he has done a terrible job with tsitsipas
Couple notes Peyton Stearns comes back from a set down in one of the WTA 125 going on right now Andy Murray playing on grass, can watch on ATP.com Challenger TV

DC you have to be careful with. There’s no shade there and it’s all asphalt. Some days there are flat out miserable, 95, feels like 125. Unless they made some changes? My plan is to watch the weather and look for either an overcast day or through some miracle a dip in temps. Last year it dropped to high 70s there one day and no one else could go with me last minute. Would have been perfect.
yep. I’ve been to the citi many times and have a place there so that’s an easy one. I’ve typically gone to the night sessions to avoid the heat. I live in MI most of the time now and so I’m going to drive to cincy and my bachelor party happens to be in Montreal at the same time as that tourney so it all came together nicely.
Yeah, he's got about 20 minutes to turn this set around or that's it. Full credit to Ruud on a great comeback at this event, though - I was nearly writing the guy off for 2023.
totally missed the laver cup being in vancouver this year wish i didnt have something else already planned for then
Gonna take Haddad Maia in some way, shape, or form. Her best tennis is against the best opponents imo. 10/1. People need to stop trying to make iga into prime Serena. (And Carlos ain’t Nadal while we are at it)
yes - people should not compare Iga to Serena in her prime. She moves way better than Serena ever did
I'm sitting on Iga to win the whole tournament without dropping a set so I wish you the worst, but 10/1 is wild I'll put it this way, if BHM wins a set I'll root for you in the third
Serena had only a career grand slam in singles and doubles by the time she was Iga’s age but yes iga is the goat.
