Tough loss for Foe. Didn’t play poorly but Med just too good.
KORDA! 6-3 over Schwartzman in the first.
Korda serving for the match and his first career top-ten win here.
Diego forces a break. What a fun match.
He’s trying to be too cute with his serve.
Just needs to thump that big serve down the T. Has another chance to close it out here.
Yeah he’s clearly hitting better in the longer rallies.
YEAH YEAH! Huge win for the kid.
And of course he serves it out to make me look like an idiot. Diego only had a shot at one of those and he wasn’t even expecting it.
That girl is going to town on some cold some creamery during the Tsitsipas match.
I could go for some ice cream right about now tbh.
Korda seems like a big time talent.
Osaka-Sakkari getting started on TC.
Sakkari just bageled Naomi in 24 minutes. She literally cannot find the court.
Hahah holy shit, just flipped it on.
Osaka broken at 4-4 from 40-0 up in the 2nd set. Sakkari will serve for it.
Maria serves it out, what a win for her. No idea what that was from Naomi.
There goes my dream matchup of Bibi Osaka
Bublik-Sinner is very fun early
Sinner wins the first set TB.
Bibi off tonight
3-3 in the 2nd set. 0 holds in this set so far.
Chair called a time violation on break point down against Bibi, and the match has gotten feisty since then.
I missed the 2nd and 3rd set, the girlfriend came outside for dinner and i got stuck watching my 600 lb life
RBA would be advised not to invite stretch Medvedev into the net.
Medvedev needs to reset here.
Korda-Rublev in about 30 minutes. Big chance for the kid.
Why such a late start tonight?
Bibi match is defintely going 3 sets and means Ill be up stupid late
Came to ask you. Is it raining?
Just turned in, it is raining.
Gonna need this rain to stop. Two really good matches tonight.
It doesn't look good from the radar. Looks like there will be a hole until about 9:30. Stop at 10 and hit again at 11. But who knows
Cart before horse here but Korda looks like the first American prospect in a long time that might actually have the type of game that can translate into top 10 caliber I.e. very good mover, all around game.
The big serve/big forehand types we’ve seen over and over the last decade always kinda stall out in the 30-50 range.
I’ve had the same thought. He’s got a good serve, but he’s not a servebot. Plenty of power on both wings, but not strictly a serve plus one guy.
I love the movement, I love the angles he gets on both the forehand and backhand within rallies. Even at his age, there’s a level of polish that impresses me. He’s as well-rounded as you’d like a young player to be for where he’s at in his career.
Sloppy service game at 5-6 and Korda gets broken to drop the first set.
It still blows my mind that we have 3 Canadians ahead of the first American in the rankings.
Also still very sad that Foe never got much better. I had such high hopes for him
Rublev is just so good. Special.
Who do you like more, Rublev or Medvedev
Aesthetically for my tastes, I love Rublev's pure power tennis the most. That racket speed is just unmatched. But Med is the better player. Pop, incredible movement for his size and the swagger he carries.
Wait WTF happened. I thought this was basically over and now were in a Tiebreak. FUCK I just want to watch Bibi
Rublev was serving for the Set and he got broken to love. Jesus
Korda just bombing away on one leg.
Great win for Rublev, great week and a half for the kid. Future is bright.
Now this match should have some massive ground strokes
Hell of a second serve there break point down.
Lets go BIBI
What a fucking backhand on Set Point
Early break for Bibi again in the second.
Ive said 100 times but Bibi mental game is maybe the best on the tour. Unreal how mentally strong she is at 20
Ive never seen Bibi have this many mishits where it hits the frame as she has had tonight. I wonder if playing someone like Sorribes last night just has her a tiny bit off
What an amazing point
