Haven't been in this/the old thread in ages but am desperate for some recommendations. Kind of in the Grouplove/Passion Pit/Bleachers end of the spectrum if that helps
never saw much talk about the latest Night Beds album man, they really changed their sound and i can see why there was no talk about the album
Was the Ray Lamontagne - My Morning Jacket collab mentioned in the old thread? First single "Hey no pressure" sounds like the love child of the new Gary Clark Jr album and the old Black Keys stuff Can't wait for the whole album
some really good stuff out in the last few weeks djds pinkshinyultrablast mt. si memoryhouse film school
Totally. I did watch a 35 min show/interview online and I will say it made me hate their singer. Amazing band tho.
has De Lux's album from last year gotten much chatter. heard "brighter end of dark" used as segue music on NPR today, haven't checked on them in a while ....
hey joe remember when we saw passion pit together and you had sex with that random and I had sex with that crazy girl
remember when you walked out of the bedroom in the morning and you were graced with the image of that random girl riding on that good joe D and you were all like "lol"
I remember the shit out of that because I really needed to pee and wanted to brush my teeth but I also didn't want to cockblock you know how it is big dog we should do that again some time but maybe the girl I'm with won't be crazy and like lying on me in public and maybe I'll see less-- or more-- of your dick idk
you remember how we went to the gym that didn't exist and you had already taken two scoops and shit was real
heck yeah we should do that. maybe i won't be despondent by the time that happens idk yeah we finally got to the place and I was all cold sweating and stuff because all the pre workout and driving gave me the bubbleguts
Prepare for hearing loss. I've seen them 3 times and had ringing in my ears for days after each show. The last time I saw them, the bass was so heavy that it disrupted my heartbeat. Good shit.
We sat in the balcony when we saw them a few months ago and it wasn't bad. This one is at a new venue and all they have is GA so no clue how it's set up.
Spotify dropped this in my Discover Weekly playlist, enjoying it quite a bit. Kind of hip hop / indie rock hybrid. The Knux - Spaceships
Bought my ticket to see Into It. Over It., The World is a Beautiful Place and I Am No Longer Afraid to Die, Pinegrove, and the Sidekicks in April for $16, which seems pretty amazing. The new Pinegrove album has been killing it in my rotation so far.
