beach house are releasing four new songs this week The first four songs of the 18-track album arrive on November 10, followed by drops on December 8, January 19, and, finally, the full album release on February 18. The album’s opening title track debuts today on SiriusXMU. The follow-up to 2018’s 7 is the first album to be produced entirely by Beach House. It was recorded with a live string ensemble, too, and David Campbell provided the arrangements.
just listened to the first song and took a video of it for you guys while I drove to the gym. I didn’t record the whole thing because it was kinda repetitive and not great
Mitski finally announces the new album, Laurel Hell, out February 4th. Here's "The Only Heartbreaker."
The lead singer of The Menzingers is putting out a solo record. Out in February. Title track, Don't Go Throwing Roses In My Grave.
Claud and Lucy dacus just had albums. What’s with the singles? I don’t understand the timeline of releases. Do artists just post whenever they have something new now
The Lucy Dacus is just a re-worked version of Thumbs off the album. Think the Claud single coincided with a 2022 tour announcement, which seems to be more and more of a trend.
from what I have seen/heard other places is the need to stay relevant on streaming services is a big part of this
I'm still really sad about Ought but another new track from Let's Eat Grandma is nice.... Two Ribbons Apparently new album due in April
New idles out. Almost like it’s a b side they slapped out but I don’t say that in a bad way. I like it, got away from the hooky shit they were leaning into. I’d prefer a few more songs that make me want to run through a wall but that’s just personal preference. Off work today so I’ll be listening to it more than a few times and trying to catch up on others.
the first pip blom album was great, have the new one on the list to check out. saw the dodos have a new one out today as well
Started a new job yesterday and two of my coworkers listen to IDLES. Really nice way to ease into a new environment
Mac DeMarco's early shows were disgusting so I really don't buy that he just found out about this shit. He's absolutely tolerated it He hasn't had a decent album since Salad Days so not hard to stop listening to his shit
