Katie Bejsiuk (formerly of Free Cake For Every Creature) - Feels Right. Album in June.
that cover was my lock screen background until I started using a picture of my kids a couple of years ago
peak beach house. it’s been all downhill from there imo
There's an ND fan with that as his avatar but I can't call his name
I think Depression Cherry is my favorite album of theirs. Their whole catalog is insanely good
Team Teen Dream because Real Love is their best song imo
I forgot about teen dream that’s the best one
I’m likely seeing them in Montreal this year.
i really like their new album
Los Angeles in Nov. I am relieved I’m not the only threadmember who digs it. Wasn’t sure if it was just me wanting it to be good blinding me. The first two songs being the ones that made others quit listening shooketh me.
got damn he’s back
the whole record is just so warm you guys
Adding to list. Also Kendrick Lamar and The Smile.
What else? Black Keys? Florence + The Machine?
I'm not sure there's anything out I actually want to listen to but I'm going to keep looking
haven’t listened yet but I’ve heard the debut from the smile is quite good
I'm loving it. With Yorke and Greenwood it's basically just a new Radiohead album, and one with more guitar than their last few
this is new too. first song is entertaining. reminds me of something I would’ve listened to in 2009
Look at J-Brekkie go.
yes, the smile album is pretty good I think after a couple of listens
I just finished and think it’s decent. pretty sure I’m not in the right mood for it
Really, really like this Mallrat record.
That's a definite maybe if I can swing it. Thanks!
Cola - Fulton Park
Osees album called A Foul Form out August 12
Here is Funeral Solution
I know there aren’t many fans here but this song of his about jeff buckley is just gorgeous
Think The Smile album is fantastic
Horsegirl - Dirtbag Transformation (Still Dirty)
This album is going to fuck.
Friendship - Hank. Album in July.
people were saying it already, but I have to agree that the new kevin morby is a return to form for him. I was skeptical after his last effort but this is some good stuff.
the singles weren’t great on their own but they flow quite well listening to the record. there are 4-5 just lovely songs on this one
Damn. Silberman got sick/lost his voice so no Antlers show for me tonight.
it’s a huge surprise they’re even touring. dude is going deaf
Reminds me of that Sound of Metal movie. That was so tough but worth a watch.
damn, that blows, and sylvan esso / pale hound was cancelled for me tonight due to Covid
Soccer Mommy - Bones
Angel Olsen - Through the Fires
Rina Sawayama - This Hell. New album (!) in September.
just snagged Peach Pit tickets for December
I give a shit about King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard
I listened to an album by Phoenix that came out in 2000…I had to double check it was the same band
never listened to that one(or maybe just dont remember) but 'alphabetical' from a couple of years later is really solid.
Seeing Bob Moses for the first time on Friday. Probably been my most played for the past year or two.
This bums me out a lot. Mostly because that dude has been through a ton, but also selfishly because I’ve been monitoring tickets when they swing thru chicago in a few weeks.
