I would miss so many releases if you didn’t post these. Somehow there’s always things that don’t get mentioned on pitchfork or metacritic
I don't know why you shared that with me, but I saw the Lindas Lindas live in Denver a few years ago and it was awesome. just went on a whim and have been listening to them off and on ever since.
also going to the Outside festival tomorrow in Denver, mainly to see Husbands. Peach Pit Red Rocks on Sunday. sprung for the VIP, so get in early to interact with the band a bit. should be a blast.
ya, Denver is not a music town, per se, but it sure gets pretty much every band I could want rolling through. And with some amazing music venues, and that is excluding Red Rocks.
This two hour monstrosity may be Swans best album in three decades. And if you have never seen them live, tour starting in September.
They’re so incredible live, but don’t do as I did and wear ear protection during their show….. The wall of sound that hits you is so insane though
I didn’t wear it the first time I saw them and was standing front row. I had very noticeable short term hearing damage from that experience. Swans are a level above any other band for loudness. Seriously, everything for two days after the show was two pitches above normal. Everyone sounded like Mickey Mouse.
Got some early vip access to peach pit at Red rocks. Three private songs a few hours ahead of the set. Good stuff
Peach Pit covered What Once Was by Her's, which is an awesome song and obviously tragic that those guys died in that car accident. Very cool. hope they release a studio version. Some videos from yesterday Peach pit pre show Spoiler Briston Spoiler
Turnstile Alien Nosejob Lifeguard (one of the members is siblings with a Horsegirl member) Wavves Landlady
We don’t do a ton of rap in here, but Little Simz fits in the indie space and has a new album out today. Very good so far.
yeah saw them on this same tour in Wilmington back in May 2024 I think. Played a handful of random requests. Great show.
Geese was discussed itt a few pages back. Cameron Winter’s band. Saw them open for King Gizzard recently- they rule.
Well hell yeah. Taking my 11 year old daughter. This is her first non Taylor Swift/Jonas Brothers concert so I’m excited for that experience for her
