No problem with that price in this town.
I am so obsessed with the song Two Dead Cops on the new Parquet Courts album. Really like the whole album but especially that song, Pathos Prairie and Berlin Got Blurry
That's one hell of a duo
I want to see Courtney Barnett live so badly
Just heard capsized on the radio this week, sounded straight out of a bill withers collection. Immediately bought the new album
PS the national and real estate are playing there the Sunday before. We might make a trip out of it
looks like I've got an album to check out
New Parquet Courts is fantastic.
Spent a couple hours in the car today and only listened to this album. Was a terrific drive
Can't wait to hear it. Thread is killing me.
m83 on wut

it's not very good
Been really digging King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard lately...best name ever
Pitchfork named it best new music
speaking of pitchfork, their new site design is awful.
I like it better. I think it is cleaner and faster.
it seems like one of those sites that they 'optimized' for tablet viewing. which I guess is fine, but Im old fashioned and use a laptop. to each their own a I guess.
it has been interesting to see their broadening of music coverage since being purchased by conde nast last fall.
won a free lotto drawing for a pair of james bay tickets for his ACL Live taping on Tuesday. excited AF to see this guy in that venue.
My favorite band
Important update from Houndmouth:
This is not the easiest news to share, but Katie Toupin is parting ways with Houndmouth. This is an amicable split, and Katie plans to pursue other opportunities.
We (Matt, Shane, and Zak) wish Katie the absolute best in all her future endeavors and want to thank her for the years we spent together as bandmates and, more importantly, friends. When we all first met as teenagers, we never dreamed that music would bring the four of us together and take us as far as it has. It’s been a long journey, and the time has come for our paths to split. We encourage everyone reading this to continue to support her.
FROM KATIE: I am incredibly thankful for all of our fans. Your relentless support has meant the world. We have been through so much together as a band, and none of it would have happened without the fans. I want to wish Houndmouth continued success. I would also like to ask the fans to continue to support me, along with the boys, as we go our separate ways.
as in... effective immediately? Have tickets to a kentucky derby music festival that's got Jamestown Revival and Houndmouth headlining.
That's the way it sounds. They will finish out the tour without her.
They added this:
ADDITION: While this was the last message from our band as the original four members, all shows will continue on as planned. Katie will not be joining any future tours, but there will be multiple musicians joining Houndmouth on all future shows.
it really wasnt. woof.
probably more excited about this album than anything else this year (to this point at least)
I've really wanted to explore this band, but I became discouraged once I found out they have like 800 albums, so I've just put no effort into it so far
Been doing this, this weekend. Just got back from Jamell Richardson and holy shitballs that was fun. Brave Baby, Blue Healer, Great Peacock, and Futurebirds were all great. And Col. Bruce, of course, but he's not at all new to me. First times seeing almost everyone else. I was pretty meh on The Weeks.
Did you drink your $50 worth of beer Tiffin?
Over the past 2 night I can say I definitely have.
The Weeks haven't made anything good in a while but I still like Comeback Cadillac a lot as an album
I just saw them live by accident at a really small venue in Charlotte, fun show ...
His debut album is fantastic
Who is that?
Diarrhea Planet released a new track off the upcoming Turn to Gold
Song is called Let It Out
Stream it at the link below
Not sure how I went this long without listening to them given they're signed to Jagjaguwar (Bloomington )
But Black Mountain is pretty freaking awesome
If you are asking who I posted it was Gallant.
It may have been mentioned but has anyone listened to Operators? It's Dan Boeckner from Wolf Parade's new group. Going to see them on Friday.
Record of the year so far
not a bad first single off the upcoming August CD. don't see how they could make another album as good as Mind over Matter. Loved that CD and the 2 shows I saw on the tour
Never seen Alabama Shakes before; have tickets to Charlotte next Friday night. Pretty excite
Who is opening for them nowadays?
New Kevin Morby named best new album on Pitchfork
I got morby's vinyl last week. Love it so much
Not sure. I was just hoping another mainboarder would pipe up and say hey I'm going too! I kinda need a handjob in the bathroom
That has to be from a tmb user? I'm sure there are a lot of other people there willing to give a rando shitter tuggbo.
Does Pitchfork give negative reviews to rap albums? Doesn't seem like they do
if the album is bad yeah or if the writer is cunty/is ian cohen
I was looking through a list of rappers to see who I should check out after years of not listening to rap and every single album I looked up was 6.4 or higher
