a lot of "artists" in general... although, in my personal experience, mostly applies to male musicians/painters/writers/etc and not females. most females "in the industry" I've met are just fuckin awesome and drugs. don't forget drugs.
I have been craving something new from Ex Hex since Rips came out in 2014 well the bass player from Ex Hex joined up with some lady from a band called Flesh Wounds to form Bat Fangs. The first song from Bat Fangs is called Wolfbite, it's below
White Reaper tonight, Bully Sunday and Alex Lahey next Wednesday Got a nice goodie bag for my babies tonight
Just a thought, cause I keep seeing things pop up on my FB feed. Still shook by the passing of Charles Bradley. And really sad that I never got to see him live
Bonobo is amazing live... been listening to him/them for years but finally saw them live in Tucson a little while back. Show was awesome - of particular note was their drummer Jack Baker, he’s a bad dude and threw down the entire set.
new King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard album out this Thursday. It'll be their fourth album of the year https://pitchfork.com/news/king-gizzard-and-the-lizard-wizard-announce-new-album-out-this-week
They are supposedly putting out 5 albums in 2017. They're experimental psych rock. Personally I enjoy them, anything they do, but it's kind of a mood listen for me. I give all their albums a go for sure. Most times when I am in the mood to listen I just throw them on shuffle.
Going to see the Rural Alberta Advantage Thursday night. They don't really get talked about in here but they were one of the first indie bands I got into 6-7 years back. Excited to finally get to see them.
I put on Murder of the Universe by King Gizzard and company when I got home tonight. That is one incredibly wild album The Han-Tyumi chapter is so amazing So I built a machine A human machine I made it with steel And soy-protein
If the Dude York/Alex Lahey tour rolls through your newly adopted hometown then you need to go Dude York bassist
Was it ever talked about in here? Had a buddy send me a song of his, and I loved it so I checked out the whole album.
Well done. Looks like you were the only one to mention it in there. It would've been near the top of my list had I heard it.
found a low quality leak of this, gotta say it's a pretty cool little ep, had more variety in three songs than the entirety of their comeback album, pleasantly surprised
was supposed to see this band open for Pinegrove in a couple weeks now that tour is canceled because Evan Stephens Hall has been accused of sexual coercion damn man
Okay, now that reads like someone wanted to bang him and then regretted it. Could be wrong, I'm in a meeting and read a Pitchfork link that Pepperoni sent me.
I'm getting some Father John Misty and Kevin Morby in the nose and a bit of Iron and Wine on the palate
