Cornelius Suttree Thank you for turning me onto these guys a year or two ago. Can't get enough. Need to see live, please come to Omaha.
Cornelius Suttree thanks from me as well for Hoops...I'm digging these guys. Can't quite figure out the deal as Spotify shows them with multiple records all from 2017 but I guess some of those are older material they're rereleasing or something?
they made a handful of tapes/eps over the last few years and they recently compiled them as a new release
new US Girls song is called Velvet 4 Sale. It is on their new album called In A Poem Unlimited that'll be out February 16
Seeing Jungle tomorrow in Montreal. They’ve apparently been playing 4-5 new songs in their set so hopefully a new album soon?
I've been listening to Beach House all day seeing A. Savage on Sunday night is gonna be so sweet. Then Angel Olsen on Monday night
also pertaining to this discussion, I randomly listened to about half of The Suburbs this week, and I still don't get it, I'm sorry
Any Oxbow fans in here? Apparently they've been around on the down low forever, can't get their relatively new album outta my head right now.
If you get a chance to see A. Savage and his Thawing Dawn band you really need to take advantage of it. Wowwww that was beautiful
Was kind of hoping to wait another 11 days or so before this started. But I admit, I've been gathering and I am at the point where I am trying to catch up on shit I missed this year.
I’m gonna buy one record a week for 2018. Anyone wanna do it with me? Should we start a separate thread?
Sure, same thread IMO, if everyone else doesn't mind. Also wouldn't mind doing this with catch up shit if we can compile a solid list. Been listening to Perfume Genius album for example.
Hey you guys I like all of Arcade Fire and I liked this tour more than the others I've seen. For the record, it is possible to be a fan of the new stuff.
Cold, rainy days have me listening to a lot of Elliott Smith lately. He's my top dead 90's musician fwiw.
Oh definitely. I do seem to give my old favorites a big pass though. Radiohead is a weird exception though, I love em but King of Limbs didn't do anything for me and Moon Shaped Pool is alright but I've only spun it like three times total.
