you guys ever heard of Field Report? Pretty interesting bio... Chris Porterfield, the leader of Field Report, originally played with Justin Vernon (now the creative force behind Bon Iver) in the Vernon-led band DeYarmond Edison. After the breakup of DeYarmond Edison, Porterfield worked on his own project, Conrad Plymouth, then eventually changed focus to work on the band Field Report.[2] In 2017, The band was signed to Verve Records(Universal) imprint Verve Forecast, whose catalogue includes artists Richie Havens, Laura Nyro, Captain Beefheart, and Tim Hardin. In 2018, the band released their first album in four years entitled Summertime Songs, recorded in their hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Panda Bear Friday night Oh Sees are playing Boston Calling on Saturday May 26th. That night they will also be playing a show in Cambridge. Tickets sold out to that evening set in a matter of hours. So #blessed that I will get to see them twice in one day
kezarmyaj mentioned this Superorganism album a couple months ago. First time listening to it in its entirety has me really liking it I guess I missed this from early last week, new Parquet Courts song is called Mardi Gras Beads
Iceage album is good, hadn't initially liked the last two singles all that much, but per usual they clicked for me in the context of the album, I guess headphones help too
You need to watch Superorganism on NPR tiny desk. I have watched the “In the Nighttime” part of the video more times than I can count.
I decided to buy TS and LH, and skip on TBR. The quick preview didnt compare to the other 2, which I am a big fan of.
I think the lead singer of frightened rabbit killed himself :/ he tweeted this and nobody has seen or heard from him since
Midnight Organ Fight is a top 5 album for me. Seen them several times, and they're one of my favorite bands. Hope he turns up
Spotify is annoying bc the controls can be completely different depending on which version/platform you're on. I'm on desktop computer right now and bottom left of the screen there's a little red circle with a line through it thing you can click, right next to the heart. If you're on mobile or a different view though it's possible you don't have that button
Awesome thank you! I use both but I will be using the PC more now because I know that feature exists.
I figured this out bc I can't remember what feature but one time my friend was telling me about it and I was like I swear I don't see that and they sent me a screenshot and it was completely different than mine
Jersey Devil was not a good album. But man Daffy Duck in Hollywood, St. Catherine and The Flower Lane are so awesome
I'm a big fan of their last album, Painting of a Panic Attack. It definitely pointed towards some demons he may have been struggling with. Hutchison was a hell of a writer. Been listening to them all morning. This is a pretty big bummer.
Della Ray. Adam Morrow(Belle Adair's current lead guitar and backing vocals) and his wife's band. They used to play and record under the moniker "Callooh! Callay!". They are slowly putting together a new album that will be released gawd knows when. You know what I'm talking about if you are familiar with Single Lock Records.
