while Ben isn't the greatest live performer ever, i really wish they did more organ stuff in the studio
As a 90's kid I fully support and enjoy new music that sounds like this https://wearenothing.bandcamp.com/track/eaten-by-worms-2
Did the same this week. He plays on the gfs Bday. Bassnectar tow nights in Atlanta at the end of that week too. /nonidietalk
It's seriously the best thing ever, I find so many new bands I like and also rediscover bands I haven't listened to in years.
this kyle forester (keyboardist from crystal stilts) album is really good. voice kind of sounds like lockett pundt from lotus plaza/deerhunter
Article in our local paper about Infinity Cat Records Mentions the new Diarrhea Planet album due out June 10. Has some quotes from them. Man I'm pumped for that http://www.tennessean.com/story/money/2016/06/01/infinity-cat-little-loud-label-could/83545204/ Might need to use incognito more to bypass the pay wall

Just bought my flight to Brooklyn for the PP Beirut show in August. Also finally decided to listen to Car seat Headrest for the 1st time in my life, and I finally have an album worthy of my 2016 top 10.
What an incredible year in music. You ever have one of those records that as soon as it ends you just want it to start again? Yeah, me too. This year's edition: SYNTHETIC ID - Impulses In a normal year without that K9 Sniffies record, this might be as good as anything you hear. Please buy it folks this is real music for real people. Castle face records.
Loved their first album but wasn't too into the second. I believe I read or saw an interview some place where someone died and the entire album just sounded like that. Needless to say just never got much play because of that.
It was definitely a change from the first album to the second, but I loved both equally. Hummingbird was a beautiful album imo.
we were talking to them backstage at red rocks and they were just being kinda dickish so we fucked with them until they moved away from us
Is it worth the $35 shuttle pass for red rocks for those who have been? Will be getting fucked up so driving is out.
Got my Local Natives Atlanta tickets. So fucking excited. I was blown away the last time I saw them. I've gotten the gf really into them recently too, so that'll make it even more fun.
Anyone else here listened to the Day of the Dead album? Bunch of our favorites covering Grateful Dead songs. It's pretty fucking awesome.
