Just came to post this. Really nice job of transitioning into this after what he went through. Great evolution as a band.
just an almost comical amount of quality music out the last few weeks. its been difficult to keep up with
That transition from Armistice to Starlight on Sacri Monti's 'Waiting Room for the Magic Hour' Reminds me of that sexy plunge into Part I of the Cicatriz jam from The Mars Volta's 'Scab Dates' album, which in my opinion is always a good thing if you ask me
Sitting here listening to Penelope Isles and could've sworn I was listening to Youth Lagoon for a second instead on the track Not Talking
Saw Vampire Weekend at Red Rocks last night. They hadn’t been there in 6 years. Near the end of the show, Ezra said he promises they’ll be back soon and won’t take 6 years again. They also played a 2 hour and 40 minute set. Pretty awesome
I'm not gonna look back and check if I've already gushed about Morby's Oh My God album but I'm gonna confess that I can't stop coming back to it. Piss River (especially after the harp-esque melody starts rocking halfway through) barely edges Seven Devils but I really don't skip any song.
pretty cool little Latin experimental rock album here, if you're in to that sort of thing well even if you're not Combo Chimbita - Testigo

I have two tickets to Bon Iver at Barclays tonight if anyone wants I will transfer. Would just like to get face and fees. Section 117 row 10.
wow I missed this a couple days ago. So incredibly excited for the new White Reaper next Friday and then this new album on 11/1 Omni - Courtesy Call Spoiler
New Wilco isn't great. Terrible compared to their best stuff, but its not awful overall imo. Its not like they had a Weezer like fall to complete garbage.
if you love electric guitar, I think you'll really enjoy the new White Reaper as far as stuff I've listened to, it's gotta be right there with Ex Hex for '19 album with the most dang catchy hooks. They shred so hard on the song 'Ring' it probably has the highest production value of their releases yet, which really allows the lead guitar & synth/keys to cut through sharply and I love that. But they still retain the snotty/bratty vibe that made me fall in love with them back in the spring of 2015. I was hearing some Let's Eat Grandma vibes at a few points listening which was totally unexpected but very cool last night they played four songs from their first album (of course Pills and Sheila) and then five from 2017's World's Best American Band. Then another four or five from the album out tomorrow. That is quite a concert experience so hopefully you'll go if they're playing nearby
looks like they posted everything to YouTube this track hopefully gonna listen to the new Corridor this weekend
I've never listened to Mikal Cronin before. Just clicked play on his new album and it is really enjoyable.
