Looking at the possibility of being in Paris during my trip in March and see full day trips to Normandy where it says you’d be spending 7 hours on the actual sites. That seem like it would be a decent amount?

Oh like you don't want to enter Brazil

Yeah IDK. Think you have to get a visa to enter.

Both sides were amazing. Did Argentina first, crossed then Brazil. Argentina ur above them, Brazil ur below....honestly I don't know how I'd rank them individually bc both give you sense of scale.

Right. I'd love to do both. But if they don't have a short term visa exemption like China or slmething it just doesn't seem like it makes sense

Did you do the O trek (full circuit) or W trek? Did you do a tour or by yourself/group and camp independently at the teahouses?

Chile or Argentina? Or does it really matter?

Ok so you're talking about a few different things. O/W is Torres Del Paine in Chile, I only got to do a day trip to that park unfortunately. The camping spots, which they now don't let you into the park unless you have reservations, were already booked up,when I tried to do it.

There are more options in Patagonia than just that. My favorite was El Chalten which is a few hours north of Calafate

I've read about El Chalten. Seems to be the lesser-known Patagonia trek, more to the glacier park than Torres Del Paine, right?

Can you fly into Chile and cross the border via land to El Calafate or Chalten? Or do you have to fly into Argentina? Chile flights look to be cheaper than Argentina.

yea that's correct. It's a tiny town created just for hiking so it's cash only and limited on restaurants. But the hikes are awesome and you can start the hikes from your hostel as opposed to getting a bus into a national park.

I crossed the border on land via bus multiple times. Generally flights were cheaper into Chile, especially domestically. Argentina doesn't have a cheap airline but Chile has sky. I want to say the closest Chilean airport would be Puerto natales or closest Argentinean would be Calafate which is also real cool.

I don't think Sedona is a 7-day trip by itself.

The Red Rocks are awesome but the food and drink scene is pretty limited. Guess that's not a huge issue if that isn't your thing though.

Zion is pretty dope. Fly into Vegas. Could split the trip between the 2 spots.

New England road trip. Did that last year and loved it. Flew into Boston, and then just went north stopping along the way. Main points of interest were Bar Harbor/Acadia, and Portsmouth. Would recommend.

I was also going to say Zion. October is great because the crowds are gone at that point and you could even go up to Bryce for a day if it snows because it's incredible then.

Well first off.. You are leaving off the best city Chiang Mai.

Not sure why you'd need 3 beaches tho.

I'd also avoid Phuket and just fly there and take a ferry to the islands or go further south into the Krabi Peninsula

I think I did 11 and that was with Bangkok 1 night each end, which was poor planning bc I Was tired from travel and the last night didn't do shit besides seek out a sketch hospital and order room service

    2 in Bangkok
    4 in Chiang Mai
    5 on Phi Phi Islands

Probably could do 5 in Northern Thailand and one less on the islands.

3 Bangkok and 5 then 4 would be a good trip.

Or depending on when you land do 2 in Bangkok and 5/5....travel to southern Krabi can be most of the day
