I scored a point and had some good volleys against the #5 ranked player in the world. Shitty draw for a championship match after a grueling journey there
The thunder one gave me the most trouble, I went out and got the rubber armor and master sword and it was much easier
Just had a legendary ‘ship. Had what must’ve been like a 30 minute semifinal against Daisy where every point was a downright war. Naturally the bitch in the final was Bowser Jr and i massacred him with Yoshi. Also, is everyone playing simple mode?
Referring to the one that moves super fast? Took me forever to get past that one. Once you get the hang of it Stages 1 and 2 become simpler but stage 3 I kept losing track of it. Anyway....how do kids betat these games?
Yeah, that fast stage is tough. I think I got lucky and timed the backflip dodge so I could quick attack once or twice
That's the way to do it. At first it took me a while to figure it out. Shield blocks all those attacks but then you break every weapon became of his regenerating shield. Anyway, felt good to finally beat that one.
DIY Labo/Laser Tag concept... https://www.engadget.com/2018/07/02/laser-tag-with-nintendo-switch-controllers/?sr_source=Twitter
Simple. I try to move him side to side, and when I lob it he does that spin backhand that seems like it goes for a winner every time
Drop shot away from him...lob to a far corner after he returns the drop shot. If he lobs it over you on your drop shot then chase it down and drop it back again or lob it and then charge the net and fuck him up when he power shots at you. Basically open up every single point against bowser with a drop shot and you’ll be in charge of the tempo.
Also try working on single button push shots...they don’t have the power but they got way further towards the side of the court
Who do y’all mainly play as? I’m probably at about 45% Peach, 30% Mario, and 25% Yoshi as far as my regular rotation goes. I want to tinker around with Koopa a bit...it’s so fun zooming around the court with him.
Team simple. Love the long rallies and more tennis-y matchup. Standard class might as well be a fighting game
Yea...and the trick shots need to be nerfed big time...I’d still probably prefer simple though...much more SSB:M-esque in terms of simplistic but deep strategy
I used Mario at first and lost my first fifteen matches, switched to Yoshi because he was speedy and haven't really used anyone else
I honestly have no idea how anyone enjoys playing with Bowser Jr. If he’s standing in the middle of the court he can reach like 90% of shots...I don’t even mind playing against him because I beat him almost every time but it’s hilarious how he can reach literally everything
I've been playing with Waluigi. And after playing some Simple mode I think online I'll be shifting to that, as I was playing a standard mode tournament and ran into Chomper. All the guy did was power shots until I was outside the court and then he'd drop shot. Nothing i could do...
Started a Zelda playthrougn again. Think I made it about 25 or 30% through last time. Game is just awesome and so much to do.
Hoping to do this soon. I got through the 4 bosses, then got a new job and lost time. By the time I got settled, other games had come out that I started playing.
I beat the 4 beasts, then started killing guardians to get ancient gear, mining for rupees to get armors, shrine and memory hunting. Gonna pick it up and go beat Ganon soon
is the ancient gear mostly to trade in for rupees? I used the ones to upgrade the tablet with that cool and funny little girl genius. not sure if any other uses. small gripe - I wish different vendors had different prices for items when you try and sell.
There's a lab to get ancient armor, weapons, etc you trade the parts you get for killing guardians. The ancient bow is really good against guardians
ok I think I need to go back to the lab (thats what I was referring to before). I guess I missed the old weapons part of it.

Probably not when it drops but it’s been on my radar since the first demo. I need to see some reviews and then I’ll probably buy it before my next trip.
yeah but didn't use it. The Watcher Knights are fucking my shit up. Think I need to upgrade nail again.
Not even sure if I’ve seen those guys yet...I’ve only explored a few areas and beaten a few bosses though. I’ve got dash, wall jump, long nail, and a couple other perks. The boss who gave me dash fucked me up pretty good but that was the only part that I died at more than a couple times. Granted, the game scares the poo out of me so I like to tread carefully at all times.
Soul Catcher. he was p tough but there are definitely some tougher bosses coming up soon. I'd recommend finding the forge to upgrade your nail. The parkour starts getting insane as well.
also Dairy Queen if you think hollow knight is scary, I would love to see you even walk through the door of the mansion in Resident Evil 7 on PSVR. it is surreal.
I don’t find HK scary per se, I’m just terrified of waltzing into a hairy situation and getting buttfucked so I like to go cautiously
Octopath Traveler is an orgy of old school goodness. Probably going to be my favorite rpg of all time.
Absolute must play and a steal at $20 https://m.gamestop.com/product/nintendo-switch/games/rayman-legends-definitive-edition/151130
I fell down there before I bought the lantern. Tried exploring in the dark a bit but ended up having to kill myself and losing about 2000 geo.
