Hey what was the thread's recommendation for an ergonomic grip for the whole shabang? Yok? Satisfye? Something else?
Thanks, passed along this info to the lady and this is my anniversary haul. She must have sensed the info came from you so she threw in a Spurs tee.
does satisfye make a grip that includes a battery pack that charges while you play? i've seen some that don't look ergonomical from other companies, and i've seen the charging case by them but i don't travel much and would just rather do handheld for long sessions without wires hooked up. if you know of any other brands that might have a good grip that charges let me know too if you would.
the battery aspect obviously adds a huge amount of bulk that hampers ergonomics give this one a look HyperX ChargePlay Clutch – Charging Case for Nintendo Switch, USB Type-C, Joy-Con Grips, Charging Kickstand, Tabletop Mode, 6000mAh Battery, Black (HX-CPCS-U)
#Stayathome has gone on long enough that I deleted my save and started a new play through of BotW. God damn this game is beautiful.
never in my life did i think i'd be excited to go to bed to see what color pansies sprouted up the next morning...
never really played games like this, baulders gate or Diablo. looking for a new engrossing experience and different gameplay. Seems like DOS 2 is the beat thing like this to come around in a long time
its going to play more like fire emblem/xcom than baldurs gate or diablo. well combat is like that at least.
Spent 340 hours beating it in a more thorough method vs my first run. It’s the best game I’ve ever played and it’s not close. Can’t decide if I should get the expansion pack or just let the wife start playing and get something else.
2 items- 1) best game for me to okay with my 4 year old. She’s not good at games but wants to play. 2) best JRPG or similar which isn’t Fire Emblem: 3 houses. Looking for the next game after Persona 5 Royal. Maybe Xenoblade?
1. Mario Kart, Goose game, Odyssey, Mario Rabids Game 2. Not really JRPG, but really digging Divinity Origins 2 are whatever it’s called.
I'm working my through it now. Wanna get it done before Xenoblade is out on the 29th. I bought Octopath when it was on sale but haven't touched it. One RPG at a time.
So am I truly fucked if I finally convinced my wife it’s worth getting a Switch and don’t want to buy from some asshole price gougers?
How are you looking to use it? I think Switch lites are available as a handheld. But it doesn't dock and the joycons don't come off if you were using it as a family console.
Is the quarantine the reason they can’t be found anymore? Is that the same with other gaming systems?
Dunno about other systems, but Nintendo has been dealing with chip shortages due to various stay at home orders around the world.
The first paper Mario for the Wii is one of the best Mario’s and extremely underrated. will for sure try this new one
As a PS guy, I know little to nothing of the Switch. What should I know about buying controllers for the system? I know it comes with the joy con controls or whatever. For the second one should I be buy the “pro” controls that looks more like what I’m used to with a PS controller? HALP
Just get a pro. Even if you don't need it for family games you'd rather have it to play games when it's just you. If you're buying a controller anyway might as well get pro
Get the Pro. The damn thing has like a 75 hour battery life and is extremely comfortable and well-made.
the pro controller usually goes on sale ($55-$60) so if you wait a bit you may be able to snag a deal on one
Have had my switch for a while but its mostly just me that plays it. Wife enjoys playing Mario Kart and Mario Party with me and wants some other games we can play together. Any recommendations?
