Ramsey was probably our best player today. how do you blame him on a play when Xhaka gifted the ball away, Mustafi gave Beharino way too much space and Monreal got caught flat footed.
he makes runs like that all game. they created some of our best chances. it's all the more reason Xhaka can't be so careless gifting the ball away.
and I still think Xhaka Ramsey can play together if we get Xhaka that remembers how to complete a pass. problem is Wenger thinking he can play that backline.
Ramsey definitely plays more like a 10 than a box to box midfielder we need. Impossible to tell if it's just Ramsey, lack of instruction from Wenger, or the fact that so many are out of position.
Taking lacazette off but keeping Welbz on was just inexcusable I shouldn't even get worked up over shit like that anymore
We all thought Xhaka was going to be a defensive mid that shielded the back four and let Ramsey make runs forward. Turns out he's not that, he's more like a deep lying playmaker that makes plays for both teams box-to-box. Not a great pairing for Ramsey. If we go back to 4-2-3-1, we should play Ramsey on the right (like he used to, even if he doesn't like it) and let him pinch in and Bellerin overlap. If we keep playing 3 at the back, maybe having 3 players committed to staying back will help.
I think at this point I would play Iwobi over Welbeck, and Wellbeck over Theo. What this game really needed was some Lukas Podolski
If Tank gets behind the defense 4-5 times like Hector did, guarantee we score a goal. I like Ox and Hector at RWB, we need some composure and end product on the other side though. Not 2 fast ass players that have shit for end product. Play Tank at LWB, get a real back 3 and we do have the players for a real back 3, and hopefully Xhaka can stop being so sloppy. His long balls were also shit today.

Really surprised at how generally quick Laca is. His footwork is insanely fast as well as his decision making. Quick acceleration and obviously he has genera (fast) pace but the other stuff was a surprise to me.
Real sick of Ox after today. His runs are nice but he's a complete meathead in his decision making, the guy will never have composure in the final third. He'll throw in some good crosses but if Giroud isn't starting, what's the point. Chill with the fucking bench pressing too.
He had a real nice set piece today, which I get is a set piece. Just saying I would have never guessed that he had that in him based on what we've seen. Also as a side note the team is collectively dumb as shit.

We don't need all these goal of the year attempts, just a complete waste. There was 1 time today where he slowed down and could see he was thinking about playing in 1 of his teammates but of course ended up taking a stupid shot from 25 yards out with no angle.
Letting him leave on a free with Chelsea willling to pay 35 for him would be one of the dumbest things we've ever done.
I am split down the middle on Ox like I said before. He certainly creates and he is direct which we need. He did create a few corners and had the nice FK delivery. That being said I'd just prefer a decision. Either fucking sell him or sign an extension. This final year of the contract shit like we're some bottom half of the league club is stupid. We have the money to retain and he has some value. Do something.
