if it was the middle of october, i'd probably agree with you, but i usually don't reach the 'do it for the lulz' mindset until october/november
There's literally zero lolz involved. Said on the offseason throw him in the pivot until he breaks. He wants to play there, he has the skill and yes he'll break. Keep in mind it's hard to quantify because I don't want to insult the Santi. He's the closest thing to Santi that we have. Willing to move there. In fact I don't think there's another spot at all for him in the side.
Jack hasn't ran well in years, Xhaka runs like Kante compared to him. Ramsey is playing well anyways.
Again Santi is slower than per. Have him sit back and get the ball forward. The no running shit is a misnomer. Arteta had one leg. Edit: Gunners rather have him sit Xhaka. Let Aaron run like Seabiscuit.
LeGrove's blog was really depressing today. I'm becoming more & more convinced that we are quickly becoming a mid-table club under the Wenger/Kronke partnership.
God Kronke is such a shit owner. Imagine the bump in tv money decentivizes Stan from giving a shit (whatever small level that was to begin with)
Agreed. He can be replaced both internally by Nelson, or externally by any number of available players. Time to move on
Haven't ordered the new kit yet... still holding out hope that we bring in someone else. Would get Tank, but for the shitty number that will likely change. Loving Lacazette, but holding out for Draxler, Seri or Lemar Spoiler Who am I kidding, I'll end up with Ramsey #8
so Chambers is staying and the reason he hasn't been in the squad is a groin injury. Wenger needs to find some confidence in centerbacks and figure out his backline.
We are currently way closer to finishing 8th than winning the league & trending in the wrong direction
lemar deal is dead according to wenger. i suppose that's the risk you run when you wait to negotiate with a team that has already sold a good amount of their squad to our rivals
i mean i guess you could look at it as a negotiation tactic with only days to go in this window. don't know if i have that much optimism at the moment though.
Unlike most transfer windows, where you can at least see a direction, I'm clueless as to what we will do. We could realistically still sell Alexis, Ox, Jack, Mustafi, Chambers, Gibbs, Debuchy & Perez. Then we need replacements. I would gladly trade quantity for quality, but at this late stage, it's impossible to pull off that many deals. We are fucked
